Weekly Challenge #70 Jan 25- Feb 1st!
Hi everyone!!!
This weeks challenge is as easy or as complicated as you want it to be!!! One of my resolutions this year, is to learn more about both my new scrapping program (PSE9) AND my usual scrapping program (SBC+) I bet I'm not the only one... right??? ![]() This weeks challenge, should you choose to accept it, will help you learn your program... if you want. Or... it will be the fastest page you'll ever scrap Either way... its good by me!!Here are the rules: 1. Choose 1 and ONLY 1 kit to work with. OR... you can use NO KIT and make everything from scratch yourself!! 2. Create a page using ONLY the PAPERS from the kit (or your own papers designs).... NO PREMADE ELEMENTS ALLOWED!!! 3. Go CRAZY with your scrapping program. You can use ANYTHING available to you via your program on the papers.... filters, cookie cutters, textures, actions, fonts (including dingbats).... anything. Rev up that baby and see what she can do!! 4. If you want to cry now.... its ok lol!! Just post your page, and feel free to go back and change it or add stuff. Its FINE to do that!!! There are NO SCRAP POLICE here ![]() 5. Post your LO in the gallery, forum thread, and here by midnite 2/1/11. don't forget your page needs to be Disney (or nearby parks) related. For fun (though not required) let me know what bits of your program you use... and if it was something new you tried!! 6. HAVE FUN!!! If you complete this weeks challenge... you will get a little Mickey Brad set that I made for ya! ![]() Here's my LO.... I'm going to do another.... this is very simple and I used only the shape maker (cookie cutter) tool, shadows, and a 3D filter o the Font!!

Wow, this sounds cool! (There's a 3D filter in PSE9? I could've used that yesterday!
)I'm really looking forward to playing around with this one! (And I think I might have to learn how to make my own flowers... )

Yeah.... I'll probably have people yelling at me lol!!
It's really not that difficult.... I actually CT for a designer that does almost nothing but paper... which has forced me to try and scrap this way at times. Some of my fave pages are paper only ones.... Here's a few more examples.... again... nothing used but the cookie cutter and shadows... (sorry they aren't Disney.... so they are not in the gallery) ![]() ![]() hehehee... I LOVE that arrow shape

Cheshire Cat
What a great challenge, took me a while to decide what to do. Thanks for the challenge.
I created the background papers, from colors taken out of my daughters costume. I used an overlay, that I texturized on the pink portion. On the purple pieces, I just texturized. On the title, I used a brick format to get the two-toned color lines in the lettering. Fun challenge!

I See Monkey Business
Thanks for hosting Paula. I used the color gradient and 3D filters on my title and the 3D filter on my elements after I used the cookie cutter on paper. I'm in the middle of trying to get Volume 1 of my Feb 2010 trip completed before the end of the month when CMs album sale ends and just happened to be working on this page.
