Disney Soda Fountain - Hollywood

If you're ever in SoCal and feel like playing tourist, then head on over to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. After spending some time looking at the stars and putting your hands and feet into the imprints in the Theatre's courtyard, cross the street for some fun refreshement, Disney style! You'll be glad you did.

Journaling: I had seen it before but had never been to it - the Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store, which is located on Hollywood Blvd., just across and down the street from Groman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. And as a special treat, we decided to have ice cream for lunch! What else are you supposed to do on vacation but break the rules every now and then? Auntie Wanda, Andrew & Matthew came along with us for this sugary-sweet treat.

It was time to decide on what to have for "lunch". The kids both had a Make Your Own Sundae: Charlotte having Bubble Gum ice cream with gummy bears; Travis with a scoop each of Bubble Gum & Cotton Candy with hot chocolate & sprinkles; & I had the Peppermint Sundae - made with peppermint ice cream, topped with marshmallow, hot fudge & whipped cream.

This is my sister and nephews as they are about to devour the Mickey's Masterpiece sundae at the Disney Soda Fountain, Hollywood, CA. Here's what's in it:

• eight scoops of ice cream
  hot fudge
  caramel
  marshmallow
  nuts
  a whole can of Whipped Cream
  topped off with cherries
