Weekly Challenge #178 (March 27 - April 2)
On all of our trips I grab a ton of postcards to send to friends and family, to use as decorations on the fridge, or to scan and add to my scrapbook. But these cool postcards can be used as inspiration too!
For this week's challenge you are going to be taking inspiration from the postcard below. the color, the sunburst, the big letters, the mix of fonts.... whatever inspires you!  I didn't have a chance to create a page for this challenge, so I will be playing along too! There wasn't a hostess this week so I'm jumping in last minute and didn't have time to put together a prize - SOOOOO, you have three opportunities to win a prize -TWO people will win $5 gift certificates to the store scrap of their choice, picked by the random number thingy!! -My husband loves to see what you guys do when I host a challenge so he will pick his favorite layout to win this prize. The winner will receive a $5 gift certificate to the scrap store of your their choice. Any questions?? Can't wait to see how this postcard inspires you!!

Ouuu.... this is a great challenge! I love the inspiration card. Now, just need to focus on what to be inspired from... the color? Starburst? word-photos? so many ideas!!!

what an interesting challenge. I have to do it. Let me go figure out who to do sunburst. Still not something that I've mastered.

Great challenge! I think I know already what inspired me, now off to scrap!
Love the idea of letting your husband pick one of the layouts as his favorite. If only I knew what he likes to see...

Dream come True Parade - Weekly Challenge #178

Great inspiration! I loved the idea of the postcard (and I have a stash with my scrapping supplies) We are going down in April, so no photos on this page--yet. I'll add them in when we get home. I'm thinking I'll use this as the front page.

It's always interesting to me how I deviate from what I initially think I'm going to do on a scrap inspriation challenge. I thought I was going to use the big brown paper for some type at an angle like the "Disney" is in the postcard, but as I was thinking about all that space I thought it was telling me to put a countdown in there instead! LOL. I'm printing this out and will use magnets on my fridge to countdown to our June trip! I know I'm already counting on my phone widget.
