I like the idea of having more than one winner, good idea Carol. The prize could be awarded by a forum poll or by the random generator thingys to prevent anyone person having to make the decision.

As far as prizes, how about this... everyone who participates (submits an entry) gets their name in 'the pot' (lack of better terminology) for each SS they participate in. The more SS's they participate in, the better chances they have to 'win'. You then use the random program to select three winners.

I could make a pin... maybe a designer or two could offer a gift certificate as well?

Ok I just checked my agenda and it's ok for me if you need sommeone on this weekend for hosting a speed scrap on GMT +1 time. You can choose the time for me, take what you need.
Ithought I could do a gift for this event, but I'm a beginner in this so if anybody knows a tuto about making wordarts it would be perfect !

We have 10 speed scraps for this weekend now I think that is plenty so I am going to close the schedule now. If any body else is desperate to host can you sign up for our regular speed scraps. With these growing in popularity I think it would be great if we could host these more regularly

Carol we will go with your plan for the prizes. Three winners decided at random by a random generator program. The more speed scraps you do the better your chance of winning.

As for prizes I think it would be fun to try and put together grab bag style prizes. Melissa Daniel has offered a couple of fantastic prizes and if some other designers fancied putting something in the pot we could randomly create 3 grab bags that would be awarded to the winners and again this will be decided randomly.

In the speed scrap weekend advert we will advertise the names of any designers that have offered a prize for the prize grab bag. How does that sound?
