For this weekend, I'm most proud that I found a way to complete half. I had a lot going on this weekend, and had to be "creative" to find time to finish just half of the layouts. I stayed up last night till 2 am to get the last one done. Good thing it's a holiday today!

I think my favorite LOs of the weekend are the following:

By the time I was doing this LO, I was getting desperate and silly. I thought the W "title" was a little whimsical and was also pretty quick. LOL. I normally wouldn't have added all the flowers and leaves, but you have to follow the instructions. I managed to tie it in with the red, white, and blue colors. I also wouldn't have tilted the photos, but you just go with the rules! I love Speed Scraps because they really stretch you! You'll be going down one path and then you get "that rule" that makes you think that you picked the wrong photos, kits, colors, etc. and then you realize it's too late to turn back, so you make it work! You have to get really creative some times!

I think I like this LO a lot, too, because of the colors:

Once again, I had to really think outside the box. I'm going along and then the "use an element in the title" rule about derailed me. I started just flipping through the element folder until some shape caught my eye as a letter. I was excited when I saw that "S" out of rope!

Thanks to Melinda and Carol and all the many, many people who helped make this a wonderful weekend (hosts, designers, participants, etc.). I wasn't able to finish the full marathon, but I did stretch myself further and got a lot done for my current book and some incomplete past years' books.

Thanks again!

I am proud of myself because I finished scrapping my whole day 2 and onto day 3 of my last trip!

This was one of my favorite things that I scrapped because it wasn't a photopass photo but still a memory I wanted to hold onto. I don't think I would have thought of it without the SS about food.

I am proud of myself for sticking with my goal of finishing the full marathon even though I had a bunch of stuff going on this weekend...

I am proud that this is my third marathon.

I am proud of myself for trying new things that I had not thought of before...

I'm proud of several things. First, while I've been a lurker in here for a while, this weekend was the first time I actually posted any layouts. So I'm very proud of that...and of course for finishing the marathon.
I'm also proud of some of the clusters I created...such as in this layout.

I'm also proud of the fact that I did a page with just me in it since I'm always the one behind the camera! Thanks for those instructions, Romajo!

I am proud of myself for finishing all of the challenges! I really had to stretch a bit to complete each instruction and I made some great pages because of it.

Like this one, I have never mixed alphas before, I love it and will try it more often. I never liked the alphas in a circle before, now I have a new use for them.

I am proud of myself for finishing the entire marathon, even though my goal was to do the half marathon! Plus I learned how to do shadows, and improved my title work. And the best part is that I got 16 layouts completed!

I am most proud I finished the whole marathon...despite being a "single mom" to 4 kids while DH is deployed. They didn't starve or kill each other and the extra TV won't hurt...haha!

Also super proud I stayed in one trip! And when possible did them in chronological order. This really made it seem to come together fast! 16 layouts is about half a book for me!

My favorite layout...

Also...figured out how to make the scatter for this one on my own (with web tutorials). YEAH!

I'm proud of myself for getting some pics scrapped that have scared me - you know the ones where you want the page to be really good but you've got no inspiration and just don't know how to scrap them? I got several of those done this weekend.

I've been wondering how to scrap these pics FOREVER! I never would have made a page like this without the instructions, so I'm so glad I did this speed scrap.

These were some pics that I wasn't sure what to do with either, and I really like how this turned out.

I just really like how this turned out - it is exactly what I planned in my head!

This is such a great idea and so fun to read about what everyone is proud off!! So time for me to say it!
I am proud of myself because I completed the entire marathon for the first time! It wasn't easy to stay up so very late 3 nights in a row but it was worth it!!

I'm really proud of this layout cause it's the first time that I managed to blend the photo well!

I'm just proud I was able to scrap more pages of our fun trip, to preserve these memories!

I did have a couple favorites though:

I just LOVE this one in general! That background paper is just made the page to me!

This one was just fun, in dividing the page between the 2 fairies.

She was one of the characters I was looking forward to meeting! I love the rich colors!
