Yay!!! My first challenge done in such a long time. It was so fun to be back.
I did weekly challenge #87 by cmtscrap. Here were the rules: 1. Showcase how you handle (or appease) your Disney withdrawals BUT NO PHOTOS FROM A PARK (see above for details) 2. You can choose any number of photos… 3. Add a hidden Mickey or two... 3. Title, date and journal. Add your finishing touches… ![]() And I also posted my page here: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...ed=1#post82343

I am so excited that I found this site!!!
I am brand new to Mousescrappers and this is my first post! I sure hope I'm doing this right. If not, please let me know ![]() My layouts are pretty bare bones and I scrap 8x10 so they look very different from the other layouts I've seen here. I also make my own papers and embellishments (PhotoShop CS4). I didn't even think about buying or downloading those type of things from the internet until I ran into a mental/creative block after returning from our last Disney World trip--which is when I found this site Since I've never done a challenge I didn't have to do much looking...I chose to do Weekly Challenge #91 (6/22-6/28) *Sleeping/Sleepy/Tired Disney Pictures. As many as you want to use. *I want a Hidden Mickey somewhere in your layout. *I want a Creative Title anywhere on the page, just make sure it stands out! *Lets have some layered papers just like you would have layers of covers on you when you sleep. Other than that you can do whatever you want. Pretty easy huh?!?!?! Here are the normal rules: *LO should be Disney (or nearby theme park) related. * It must be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category before the deadline. ![]() Also posted in the Weekly Challenge Gallery. http://www.mousescrappers.com/photos...er-pan&cat=575 Last edited by tukogirl; 09-03-2011 at 02:43 PM. Reason: added a direct link to the gallery on the pic so everyone could leave love |

Great challenge & pp...awesome. Thanks!
I choose: Weekly Challenge #19 (1/26 to 2/2) After booking a Disney trip, the very next thing I start planning is where to eat! It's strange because I'm not a food person, but for some reason, I am at Disney. I have my favorite places, but always like to try new ones, too. I never took pics of food until I started going to Disney, now it's kind of an obsession to get that perfect food pic! So, your challenge is to scrap something Disney & food related! Your layout doesn't have to include pics of food (I know not everyone takes pictures of that!) If you don't have any Disney food/restaurant pictures, be creative! It doesn't even have to be at Disney. Maybe you made one of your favorite meals after getting the recipe on your last trip. Maybe you have a cute Disney dish set. Maybe you have a set of Disney McDonalds Happy Meal toys! As Tim Gunn says, Make it Work! ![]() http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...2386#post82386

Fun idea!
I chose: Weekly Challenge #40 - 6/23 - 6/29 Today I have a recipe challenge for you. 1 - use 4 or more papers 2 - use 1 alpha and 1 *new* font (a font you have never used before) 3 - Must be Disney related! 4 - one hidden mickey 5 - an odd number of photos 6 - 3 or more staples/fasteners 7 - 3 or more strings/ribbons/ricrac 8 - post your layout in the Mouse Scrappers gallery and link it to this thread and into the corresponding thread, ie if your layout is about the Tea Cups it would be in Magic Kingdom > Fantasyland > Tea Cups thread. 9 - I will send all of the posting gifts at the end of the week at once. ![]() Asia - Maharajara Jungle Trek |

Donitab: oh my goodness, I LOVE your journaling, it is perfection. The stars are such a great way to tie the two photo areas together. Fantastic job on the challenge!
This Dixie Pixie: The sense of motion with the coins, music notes, and confetti is awesome. Great photos and a great page redo! Sullyntink: Great job on the challenge! The page you created really showcases that lovely photo well. The flower frame is awesome! Colins7350: perfect picture and page to use on the Minnie font challenge! Love the red and white color scheme and that new font you picked is great. I need to download that one I think! Claire: great shots of the monorail in motion, those are hard to get! Your title work is wonderful and I like all of the paper layering you did. Liriel: Great page to use the Minnie font challenge! Beautiful happy colors and great use of those cute mickey papers. This page makes me smile! DM1220: These pics are too cute! Your paper layering is great and the little glasses are the perfect touch, great find. Ana carol: Aren’t tigger tails great?!? They used to be even better but they changed them last summer. Super cute page, love the use of tigger’s colors and the awesome black string frame around the photo. RuthieRoo: Fantastic clustering around the photo. I like the sunburst paper behind the black base, it adds such a nice detail. Frogfish: Great job on your first challenge, welcome to MouseScrappers! The little mickey detail on the frame is fantastic. You picked the perfect photos for this challenge! Robills: perfect pic for the challenge! Fantastic title work, I love all of the different alphas you used and the swirls behind. Trimom: fantastic title, so clever! I like the bracket above the series of photos and the string up the side of the photo block – nice detail! Fioontje: great journaling. Lovely clustering and paper layering. I like how you changed the photos to black and white, it really makes everything in your layout pop. I just sent the prize link to everyone who has participated so far, so if you have uploaded something in this thread and I missed sending you the prize, please let me know. Gorgeous work ladies, and if you haven't created a layout yet, get on it

Snow White, Weekly Challenge 100/17
What a great idea to celebrate the 100th challenge. Great silhouttes too!
Here's my page ![]() Forum Link: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...2419#post82419 Original Instructions for Weekly Challenge #17 by Britt of BrittishDesigns: "This week, the challenge is to let these buttons, that Josh and I got and wore at Disney World, inspire your page." The button is a "1st Visit" button found at the link for the challenge: http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...ead.php?t=3728 "As long as you're inspired by the button in some way, AND scrap a Disney related page, you're good to go!" I really liked the Fab Five grouped together on the pin Britt posted. When I thought of groups, those 7 lil' miners immediately came to my mind. And, as luck would have it, I had some Snow White pics from last December that I still needed to scrap! Man, I wish I was a Mousescrapper back when the challenge was "live". The original participation prize was cute!

Hi! This is my first attempt at digitally scrapbooking a Disney page. I've only been doing digital scrapbooking for about three months. So, I've never done any of the challenges! I chose challenge #98. I've been wanting to scrapbooking the fun we had at the Cars 2 attraction in Hollywood.
![]() Here's the original rules: 1. Scrap something Pixar related 2. Post your LO with proper credits in the Weekly Challenges Gallery here at MouseScrappers. 3. Add your LO to the venue/attraction threads in the MouseScrappers forum. For example, my layout is about Toy Story Mania, so I went to Disneys Hollywood Studios > Mickey Avenue / Pixar Place > Toy Story Mania and posted my layout in that thread. If you have a Character meet & greet layout, please post it in the appropriate thread in the Character Encounters section. Also, please make sure you are posting in the correct theme park section (I've been moving a lot of posts lately from Disney World threads that are supposed to be in the Disneyland threads!) 4. Leave comments & love for at least three other challenge participants (more if you have time). We all love getting love in the gallery!! 5. Come back to this thread and leave a link to your LO in the gallery AND a link to where you posted your LO in the venue/attractions thread. 6. Don't forget to have fun!! Here's my layout in the Weekly Gallery Here's my layout in the general forum I couldn't do the 4th original rule because it's closed, so I hope it's okay if I do it for this instead. I hope I did everything correctly! |

Thanks!
I loved this challenge! This is the first time I've done a challenge and I had a blast. Here is the challenge i did and my LO. Thank you all so much! I love this site!
Weekly Challenge #69 (1/19-1/25) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to this week’s challenge! It's my 1st time hosting a weekly challenge...When I was trying to come up with an idea for this week's challenge... I was thinking about this date in Disney history..So, this date in 1936 eighteen year old Adriana Caselotti recorded her first track as the voice of Snow White, ironically on this date in 1997 Adriana died at her home in Los Angeles, CA, following a battle with cancer. So the instructions are going to be simple. 1. Your layout does not have to be of Snow White, but I want to see Snow White colors, blue, red, white and yellow…You can use any combinations of the colors… 2. You can choose any number of photos… 3. I want to see some clusters of flowers… 4. Add a hidden Mickey 5. Title, date and journal if you like. Add your finishing touches… ![]() Also posted in Downtown Disney- Once upon a toy. |
