I think in PSE8 if you draw a circle. Then put your picture over it and hit CTRL+G. It should clip the two together. Then you might have to do a CTRL+T to resize. Just grab the corner and hold shift to maintain the shape.

I think in PSE it´s Ctrl+G ( but I´m not really sure I use CS5)
Or go to your layers, put your mouse pointer between the 2 layers( your photo and below your shape) press the alt tab and an arrow should appear do alt+click and it should be clipped(it works in cs)

I don't know if this is right, but I do it just like I'm layering my paper..I put the photo on the circle that I want it to be on, then I go into layer and click create clipping mask...Then I size it down to the size of the circle.. Like I said I don't know if tis is right, but it worked for me....

Ok, so I know this doesn't look like the template.... That's how it always works for me. By the time I'm done with it, it doesn't resemble it at all

Are you using PSE??? I use PSE8 and like I said, I do the same steps for each layer...With this template, I did the pictures first, instead of the background paper, on because I wanted to see what they looked like before I added the background paper and other layers...

I'm sorry you are having so much trouble! I don't use PSE so I don't know how it works...

I really hope you are able to figure it out. If you can't, maybe try to do what Denise (aka agrievingmommy) did and change the circles into squares if that's easier.
