Hybrid Challenge #1

Thanks ladies! I thought about the resolution not being printable... but then I thought it may not be printable for me (or you) cause we are picky and know how nice they should look.... but that may not be the case for someone else

Now I just need to figure out the best way to 'craftily' finish the book and put it all together.

Thanks for hosting this challenge Kayla! I wouldn't have made this without the prompt and inspiration.... and Allison is so excited about her special MNSSHP autograph book!

That's great! All I did for my books was put the pages in the order I wanted them..then pasted the backs of the pages together to make the book stronger. After that I stacked my pages up in order and punched a hole in the top left hand corner then put a book ring through the hole to connect them. I found the book rings super cheap at Walmart in a pack of 8 I believe for like $2. They were in the stationary section...but I am sure similar stores have them. There are lots of other options though

Ok I've only gotten 2 pages done so far. I am waiting on my printer ink and 32lb paper from staples to show up this week then I will do more pages, print them and laminate covers and bind it in a bind-it all ring binder. I will post photos when I am done.

Great pages so far Julie, can´t wait to see the others and esp your finished album cause I don´t know how to finish mine, I´ve only seen Kayla´s and Ana Carol´s so far, and as we are printing separate pages AnaCarol´s way is not an option for me, so the only idea left so far is Kayla´s, I think I´ll have to go to a paperscrappers shop to see what can I find there! This is so new to me! And how do you laminate the covers???

I have a xyron machine that laminates, makes stickers, magnets etc... Its very nice. here is a link to one: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/p...RODID=prd11327 I have this one, its the 500. It only laminates up to about 4.5-5 inches wide to however long. I would love to get the 900 version which is much wider, but its a bit more money.

Moving right along with my autograph book.... Made 2 more pages... A cover, Donald Duck page and a Daisy Duck page... I'll post when I am completely done... I should be able to make the deadline...

Wow Julie! All that equipment for me is just wow! I was thinking in a wire binding, I can get it here for about a buck, but the laminate, I´ll have to ask about that. I´m not paperscrapper so there is no use for me to buy something like yours, but I still have the laminate idea for the cover of my book. I can´t wait to see your finished book to get a more clear idea

Well done Lyn, , I´ve been also making more pages, right now I have 7, but I phoned my assistant at the printing company today and she was sick so I won´t get my prints until she returns back to work, so I guess it will not be until thursday. Right now I´m making some more but I can´t find good cliparts of Chip and Dale, I´ve been about 2 hours in google, bing etc and nothing, I found one I liked but too small, I´ll see if I can resize it and like you, hope to finish before the deadline!
