looks like i am gonna have to write a tutorial on strokes!!! hopefully someone can give you a quick answer. i am horrible at quick explanations! i will post a tutorial in the forum on this subject in the next couple days!!

If you want to ignore all the crazy and distracting chit chat, you can just follow the steps in the original post (I keep adding a step every 10 minutes for 7 steps).

WHITE STROKE BORDER EXPLANATION

I use photoshop, and in my layer styles, I can turn on a white border around the inside of my photos. But other programs do the same thing in different ways. An example of what it looks like can be seen here!
