If you have received an email then you would activate via that email you received. Did you send the request via facebook?

Check your email for a message from slack.com. Be sure to check your spam folder as well. If you didn't get one, try going to slack.com and clicking on the 'forgot password' link to see if that triggers a message. Our chat room is at https://mousescrappers.slack.com
