We were going to go to Disneyland on Friday for my birthday, but I think we'll go tomorrow or Thursday instead

WHOO HOO; just what I needed to get my motivation going to finish my 2012 & 2010 trips!! (and fluff up some prior "traditional" pages I don't like).

Alas, work on Friday and cookie sales started this week (girl scout cookies. yum yum yum) so I'll be selling those outside in the frigid air Friday night and Sunday afternoon, but going to try to still aim for that silver medal!!! if nothing else, I need my motivation back.

Goodness... it is already time for Girl Scout cookies? Time sure flies. I hope it isn't too cold for being outside this weekend. Good luck and have fun!

yes - it's that time, and after having a very warm fall and early winter, we seem to now be having an abnormally cold January! We don't usually dip below freezing (texas) but the past few days have been below freezing in the morning and only up to mid 30s during the day. Problem is we don't have clothes to wear when it's this cold! LOL. We'll be wearing 2 pairs of jammie bottoms under our pants and 2 pairs of socks in place of boots. haha

wish us luck! it's our first season to sell and so far we're on a roll!

Hope to at least aim for the silver medal!!

So glad I saw the post on Facebook yesterday about this. I've been trying to catch up on everything since the holidays. I have tons of new pics to scrap, too, since we were at WDW over New Years. (What a crazy experience. I doubt we'll go back this time of year though.)

I'm hoping to get to most of the speed scraps, but we have a few things going on over the weekend that I can't get out of. At least I have a husband that supports my habit and will do whatever he can to keep the kids out of my way.

I hear ya on the crazy cold weather. I rushed the kids out the door yesterday morning when I realized there was frozen stuff falling from the sky.

Good luck with those cookie sales. I can't imagine sitting out in this cold selling them. It was bad enough walking the neighborhood on Sunday as the wind picked up and the temp dropped. But my DD is so excited to finally be taking cookie orders. She's been waiting for this since we joined GS back in September. Her comment when we left that meeting, "Mommy, where are the cookies? I want to sell cookies."

I'm so glad I stopped by today! I figured the marathon was coming up soon! I don't have any plans this weekend so hopefully I will see you all! So excited!

So excited for this! Hopefully there will be enough time for me to do the full marathon. I'm 38 weeks with baby #5 and this will be great motivation to finish scrapping our trip from this past April... before the baby decides to make his appearance!

I know I have a pretty subdued weekend but even with the small things I DO have going on, I probably won't be able to participate in ALL of the chats but will definitely be keeping my eye on EACH S.S's 7 rules and deadline times! Thank goodness for smart phones - hooray!

This is perfect timing! I've lurked around these boards for a couple years and happened to come back because a friend & I have a scrap weekend planned for this weekend...going to get started on my Thanksgiving Disney trip!

Just posted my first layout...from a previous trip...so I know how to do it...and I'm ready to Rock 'n Roll come Friday!
