The MouseScrappers designers were all busy this last week designing away! We’ve got some amazing new releases for you this week, and an incredible bundle (think SAVINGS) of some previous releases! Without further ado, let’s jump right in.

You may have noticed that True North Scraps has been missing the last few weeks. Well, her computer was sick and had to go visit the doctor. Sadly, it died, but now she’s got a brand new one and is back to designing. This cute kit will bring out your wild side. Inspired by Universal Studio’s Madagascar characters, it is suitable for many more layouts. I can see it being perfect to use for a layout about a child’s room or nursery, a fun visit to the zoo, or even an African safari if you have been so lucky to experience one! For our friends in the United States – Can you believe this heat wave? Last week my parents were in town and our temperatures were in the 100-degree range the entire time. I think we even got up close to 110 degrees one day. It was just plain miserable! I know, those of you who live in the desert are likely laughing at me right now, but… This transplanted northern Wisconsin girl can no longer handle extreme cold, and extreme heat and I have NEVER been friends! It’s no wonder Walt relocated to Los Angeles from Kansas City. Lately I’ve been seriously considering following in his footsteps!
Last week most of the MouseScrappers team took the week off to spend with family and celebrate Independence Day here in the United States and Canada Day for our northern friends. So, you may have missed the release of the Design Challenge 3 Collab Kit. It’s here on the blog, you can find the post about it HERE, along with the store link to purchase it. For those of you who subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll be getting more information about the challenge in today’s publication.
Although our store designers were also taking some time last week, they still were busily designing away. This week we’ve got some great new releases from Capturing Magical Memories and Polka Dot Chicks. Let’s take a look at what these ladies have in store for us this week!
Capturing Magical Memories
Mary has 2 new releases for us this week. First up, we’ve got a fun set of paper templates. These templates are great for using to create your own papers to use in your pages. It’s so easy to make sure the colors match perfectly to the rest of your page by using the eyedropper tool when you color each layer. And, just with layout templates, paper templates have endless possibilities.
Check out this adorable page Melinda created by playing with these paper templates and combining them with some of Mary’s kits!
Next up Mary has an adorable mini kit inspired by the Town Square Meet-and-Greet. It includes 28 elements and 8 papers. It’s perfect for any photos of your favorite mouse. And, with the magician theme, you could even use it for those magic shows your little ones put on for you!

Polka Dot Chicks
The Polka Dot Chicks have a total of 4 new releases for us this week! One is a stand-alone kit, and the other 3 are mini-kit add-ons to their popular What’s Black ‘n White series. Let’s take a look at these fun new kits!
First up, let’s go under the sea to visit My Favorite Mermaid. This sea-rific kit includes a full alpha (lowercase, numbers and some punctuation), 14 papers and 28 elements. The color palette, full of gorgeous corals, purples and teals, is perfect for your character meet-and-greet pictures with everyone’s favorite mermaid princess, pictures of your OWN little princess dressed up as her favorite mermaid, or it would also work well for any of your water-themed layouts.

Next up, the Chicks are releasing 3 more color add-on minis for their What’s Black ‘n White series. We are so excited to welcome Amanda to the MouseScrappers Store! Amanda’s designs have a fun and whimsical touch. Her products will be the perfect addition to your magical vacation’s scrap album. For her grand opening in the MouseScrappers Store Amanda has added 4 new products for us. Let’s check them out.
Sun Shining Day is a bright and colorful kit. It’s perfect for meetings with your favorite duck, visits to the “studio,” or just photos from your summer days. Let’s check it out!

Next up, we have Autumn Splendor. This kit has gorgeous, muted fall colors. It includes both patterned and solid papers, a full alpha and a variety of elements. I am totally addicted to alphas, they are one of my favorite stash items. Glitter easily adds sparkle to your page and makes it that much more magical. Think about parties, movies, New Years, princesses, pirates… You seriously can use this alpha pretty much everywhere!
And last, but not least, Amanda has the Honey Pot Alpha in her store. This alpha was inspired by everyone’s favorite cuddly bear with a penchant for honey and the rest of his friends from the 100 acre woods. But, the colors are versatile enough that they can be used for so many other pages.

Polka Dot Chicks
Tammy and her daughter have some incredible new releases, yet again! They’ve added a gorgeous kit to their “Magical Basics” collection, a magical kit perfect for our favorite “sleeping” princess, another set of templates, a fun alpha and a set of quick pages and layered papers. Let’s take a look at their new goodies. 🙂
First up is their Magical Basics: Essentials Kit. This kit is the perfect edition to their Magical Basics collection. Just like with the rest of the collection, you can use it to scrap all of your magical memories.
Next up, let’s take a look at the Chicks newest template pack. Just like with their other template packs, Magical Templates 4, comes with the variety of layers, multiple photo placements, fun element suggestions, etc that we’ve all come to expect. And, templates are the best, because they are SO easy to customize by flipping or rotating, removing layers, moving layers, combining 2 templates together – the options are limitless!
Do you remember the Polka Dot Chicks fun What’s Black ‘n White kit? Well, to help speed up your scrapping, check out these incredible quick pages and layered papers they’ve made for you! If you’ve never worked with quick pages before, let me tell you just how simple they are. All you do is add your photos, some journaling, a title, basically whatever you want. The hard work is done for you, the papers and elements are already there. And, in less than 10 minutes, you’ve got a gorgeous page! If you want a little more hand in the creativity, use the layered papers instead. Here you’ve got all of your papers and a few elements to help you start. You can then add your photos, additional elements, a title and journaling. In less than 30 minutes, your page is done!
Next up, let’s look at their newest alpha pack addition! Their Magical Gradient Alpha includes a full upper and lowercase alpha. The colors are perfect to combine with ANY of their other kits you find in the MouseScrappers store. Yes, it truly is that versatile.
And last, but not least, let’s look at their newest full themed kit! I’ve got to admit, I’m in love with this kit, it’s about my favorite Princess! Think about an evil witch who can transform into a dragon, three good fairies who whisk a baby princess away to the woods to keep her safe, a prince who doesn’t want to marry the princess his parents betrothed him to, and a young lady who doesn’t realize she’s a princess. Although this kit is definitely themed towards our favorite sleeping princess, it has plenty of elements that can be used for scrapping many of our other favorite princesses, villains and magical castles. We proudly present you with “True Love’s Kiss.”

Mary took a much deserved break last week, she wanted to perfect her ocean-themed bundle. And, I must say, the wait is well worth the end results! I know our creative team sure enjoyed playing with it! And it has so many uses OUTSIDE of our favorite magical parks. Think visiting the aquarium, ocean, or even your own fish friends at home!
