Day 2 of Getting to know Pam of Book Lady Designs

I hope everyone saw the post yesterday introducing Pam of Book Lady Desigms.  She will be releasing her first amazing kit at the Mousescrappers Store this Friday.  Yay!  We are very excited and thought we would take this week to celebrate.  We wanted you to get to know Pam better.  Today, I thought we’d focus on all things Disney from Pam’s perspective.   I’m always curious to know about other people’s Disney favorites.  I thought you might be interested too… so I asked Pam a few Disney related questions.  🙂

Do you have a favorite Disney Character?    There might be a hint in my user name…Pooh46! Yes, it’s Winnie the Pooh!

How about a favorite Disney park?     Our trips are usually to WDW and my favorite park there is Epcot. One of my favorite things is to arrive at Epcot in the morning, coming in through the International Gateway before the World Showcase is open. I love walking through the UK pavilion with nobody else around.

How about a favorite ride?     This may not be the most exciting ride, but I love Figment, so Journey to Imagination is a favorite ride. I have to do that every time I’m in Epcot. Now, if they would only bring back DreamFinder!

Favorite place to dine while at Disney?     My absolute favorite place to dine is Victoria and Albert’s at the Grand Floridian. That’s a special dining experience and we don’t do it too often. For lunch, we always have to have fish and chips at the Rose and Crown Pub every trip.

Stay at the same resorts?      We’re DVC members and our home resort is the Boardwalk. Over the years we’ve stayed at a lot of the other resorts, but now we tend to stay at the Boardwalk every visit. We love the location. We really enjoyed the Grand Californian when we were in Disneyland.

I understand you have been fortunate enough to go on a Disney Cruise.  I’m jealous.. lol… Something you would like to do more of?      I love the Disney cruises, although I’ve only been on two. My husband and I cruised on the Wonder and my daughter and I cruised on the Dream. My husband would like to do the cruise to Alaska. Maybe we’ll do that after he retires!

I know each time at Disney is magical.  Care to share any particular fun memories for a trip?     Does anyone remember the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire attraction that was at Hollywood Studios? My husband loved to play and he got to the million dollar question and answered it correctly! He won a Disney cruise for 4. Now that was a magical memory!

Thanks Pam for sharing some of your favorites with us.  That is awesome that your DH won a Disney Cruise!  That definitely is an amazing memory!  I also appreciate the tip about Victoria and Albert’s.  I’ll be saving my folding money for special dining experience with my own DH.

In closing, we’d like to share with you an awesome Quick Page made by the talented Lisa (Chef Minnie Mouse).  Here is a preview of her sweet treat using Pam’s super fun kit going to be released this Friday.

See ya tomorrow with more of my fun interview and another yummy freebie by the Mousescrappers CT.

We’ve got some gorgeous new releases this week AND a new designer! Plus, all of our new releases are ON SALE through Sunday! Let’s get down to business and take a look at our new products.

Introducing – My Own Little Chair Designs

We are so very excited to have Sara join us in the MouseScrappers store! When I asked her about herself so we all could get to know her better, here’s her response: “I’m a Disney-lovin’ mom of two sweet princes and two darling furry babies. My husband truly is my own Prince Charming and there is never a dull moment around our castle! I have the best job in the world – designing scrapbooking and craft supplies. I am passionate about helping other families record their happy memories and I never forget that it is a privilege and honor when someone chooses to use my artwork in their project.” Isn’t she just the sweetest? Her introduction totally makes me want to meet her! Let’s dig into her releases!

Sara is releasing both a full kit, and a set of page starters based on the kit. Very Mary is a practically perfect way to scrapbook your vacation adventure. Whether you met Mary after a Broadway production or posed for a photo at the park, this kit will make your layouts supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! With pretty Victorian touches, the kit includes 21 patterned papers with matching solids. It is packed with over 40 embellishments, a set of word strips and a full alphabet to scrap your visit with your favorite nanny! And her page starter template set is a practically perfect way to jumpstart your vacation adventure scrapbook, that is so much more than a template set! You’ll get frame clusters, embellishment clusters, background papers, a mask and a border to use over and over again.

All of Sara’s new releases are 20% off through Sunday. Now, let’s check out these fun LO’s from our creative team. I especially love how Lisa used it for her carousel photos!

Donna brings us a lovely, versatile kit in shades of purple that celebrates the connections we have with friends and family. The kit includes 16 very richly detailed papers and a total of 35 elements. With social media being so predominent now, she created a Word Art add-on with 8 word arts containing hashtags. There also is a cute bead alpha of numbers 0-9 and letters A-Z with a string included so you can connect the beads together. You can purchase each item separately, or buy them in a bundle. The bundle saves you $3.50 over regular price. Everything is on sale for 30% off for the entire weekend.

And look at all of these fun pages from our creative team! And were they creative! Eeyore? It’s a Small World? Cinderella Castle? As you can see, this kit will work for MUCH more than celebrating connections!
