This model is a Gent's EDC (Everyday Carry) that goes very well for those situations where the bowie just seems a little bit out of place. Originally designed to go with suits it works well in any situation calls for a little something to cut with. The blade is CPM-154, an American made stainless steel. Bolsters and pins are 416 stainless. The handle material is Desert Ironwood burl, an extremely rare wood as not only does Desert Ironwood rarely burl it is also a protected species here and in Mexico. The only way to legally gather the wood is from dead falls. It then takes up to ten years to dry enough for use. This is the second densest wood in the world and has a beauty to match. The pieces on this blade are presentation quality, the highest. The picture doesn't truly capture the fire in the wood. And don't let the guys have all the fun, this fits in a Lady's hand or purse just as well Jim

The Course of the Force wrapped up last night. I'm so sore today! Here is a photo that came out pretty good (I'm on the right)
... And here are the runners prepping for the last legs of the race

------- This fundraiser has officially ended --------
Thank you sooooo much to everyone who donated! We raised a total of $1073 for Make-A-Wish!! We will start compiling a list of all the contributors and determine who the winners are for the "Gents" knife handmade by Jim (Kilted Candyman) and for the digiscrap items from Mad for the Mouse Designs. We'll let you know who the winners are soon!
