Weekly Challenge #206 (10/16 - 10/22)

Welcome to Weekly Challenge #206!

This day for me, marks single digits until my Disney trip! Come next Friday I’ll be leaving Ol’ Blighty and be Florida bound for my first WDW Halloween!! I’m so excited, so I thought I’d come and share the joy with a weekly challenge. I know it’s a little early for Halloween but I figure since it’s been Halloween in Disney since September, it’s all good

Your Challenge is based on MNSSHP (but your layout does NOT need to be halloween themed) -

M – Mix and Mingle - COMBINE AT LEAST TWO KITS together

N – NOMINATE ONE PHOTO TO BE THE MAIN FOCUS. Just as you have to prioritise character meets, prioritise more space to the main photo – MAKE IT LARGER than any additional photos on the page

S – SPARKLE – whether a tiny crystal button or a mass of glittery papers ADD SOMETHING THAT SPARKLES to your page in the spirit of Hallowishes

S – SIGNAGE – Just as the parade starts with bold signage make sure you sign your page with a BOLD TITLE using BOTH an ALPHA AND a FONT or MORE THAN ONE ALPHA

H – HEADLESS – In homage to the Headless Horseman, include AT LEAST ONE ‘HEADLESS’ PHOTO (photo of scenery rather than family/characters)that helps set the scene

P – PLAY AROUND – after-all the party is all about fun, play around with your page until you are happy with it, ADD ANY FINISHING TOUCHES!

Simple? Should you accept this challenge here is the Nighmare-ish element pack you will receive for your efforts which is in homage to Jack and Sally appearing at the party for the first time this year:-

Since I haven’t yet had the chance to meet Jack and Sally I quickly threw this together with stock photos but I cannot wait to scrap them for real!

2) Layout should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category and in the appropriate forum
3) Please don't use a quick page to fulfill the challenges -that really isn't fair to everyone who created their own page to receive the prize, and makes light of the prize providers work.

Oh how cool! We are going to the Halloween Party for the first time this year, and my daughter is sooo excited about Jack & Sally. I actually saw Jack & Sally at EPCOT about a month ago and asked the CM why they were there and if they would continue to be and he said they were just practicing for the Halloween parties.

They looked really great. So far, I'm hearing that the wait can be up to 1.5 to 2 hours, so we are getting in line for them first.

What a cute element pack, Melissa! I so need it to scrap J&S when we see them on the 24th!

You'll be at the party the night before we arrive. We are attending on Nov 1st. You'll have to tell me how it was and send me any first timer tips

As Lisa said it is short for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - I should have thought to put that in the first post! However that theme is just for the instructions, you page can be of anything!
