The beginning and end of each month are always busy for me because if the design challenge, but this past month was exceptionally stressful because in addition to the design challenge, I hosted a weekly challenge (remind me not to sign up to host when design challenge is due/released again

), and had a lot to tackle at work. Sorry I have been missing from the thread for a while...I'll try to answer the questions that I found here.

There is no rule, per-se, just a common courtesy we have extended to each other and the site based on the reveal/release date shown in the individual design challenge threads. I can't stop you from posting your portion of the collab on your blog, but we won't be posting previews before the reveal/release date on this forum.

It is stated in the design challenge rules and instructions that the copyright of your submission remains with you. The kits that you create remain your property, MouseScrappers does not own them. By submitting them for this challenge, you are allowing MouseScrappers to sell them and keep the profits from such sales (for an unspecified amount of time). If you want to sell it elsewhere you are free to do so at any time. If you do choose to offer your kit for sale on another site, you may want to put a disclaimer in place stating that the kits (in whole or in part) are part of the design challenge here on MS so customers don't buy both thinking they are different kits.

Of course you can do a general use kit! You might think about doing one with just neutral colors (black, white, grey, brown, silver, gold, etc.) Most kits will already have color specific items; we may need some items that aren't specific to any specific color scheme. One suggestion the CT had for us after DC6 was to add some neutral items, specifically black/white papers. One thing I tend to forget is that the CT must use our kits exclusively to do their layouts and things like general use papers/elements can go a long way.

Got it, but haven't had a chance to download anyone's submissions yet. I should be able to get to it soon and will let you know if there are problems.

Christina - I already had 2 templates in mind so that is not a problem at all. Thanks for everything you are doing! Looking forward to seeing everyone's kits.
