Since there were so many MouseScrappers in Orlando during October, I decided to fly out there and meet them (and convinced Britt to go with me). We have several small 'meets' going on between Oct 23 and 28 and it's always fun to hear when another person has decided to join us. It's not too late if you watn to come... it's free dining! Oh fudge - I thought it was going to be at Disneyland. I would be interested when the next one for Disneyland is planned (depending on date of course).

BTW, Only recently did I learn that the pirate dog was only available with 'custom points'... sorry I corrected it to Post points a week or so ago.

How do I keep losing points and ending up in the negative? I must've lost 40 or more User points a week or so ago and I'm finally at 0 again. And yesterday I had enough Post points plus a little extra to buy a pin, I forget exactly how many extra. Not a lot, maybe 2 or 3. So I bought the pin and now I have -38 points.

I'm sorry, I don't know I know in the past, I've changed the system causing people to lose points, but I haven't done anything since August. How long do you think this has been going on? Unfortunately the history doesn't show very far back... I'll have to look at the database.

I've just noticed it the past couple of weeks so it would've started in September. It seems that I'll get enough points to buy a pin and when I've bought the pin it subtracts the right amount of points, but the next day when I log on I'd have -38 points. It was crazy when I bought my last User Point pin because I think I should have had something like 20 points left but it went to -18 and it takes forever to earn them back! I have 2 now! Another strange thing is that some of my points aren't even. I have 2 different amounts of post points. Currently I have 32 points for most Post Point Pins, but I have -8 points for the Angel, Halloween Tink, Pirate Dog, Mouse Ears, Mickey's Glove and Tea Cups. It seems strange that they're different than the rest of the post pins.

I mean, I'm not complaining! I hope it doesn't sound that way. I just noticed something weird and I'm curious about what's going on.

You lost me a little when you said "Currently I have 32 points for most Post Point Pins, but I have -8 points for ..." . I do know that those pins you listed all take "Points for Posts" whereas the others are "Posts Points". I honestly don't know what the difference is, but I will search the developer's thread to see if it explains. Why it lets you go negative I have no idea, but please tell me sooner next time so I can see it in the 'activities' before it scrolls off the page.

Ok I will! I guess there must be some kind of a difference between "post points" and "points for posts" since most of the pins say 32 but those few say -8.

I thought it was kind of a silly thing to worry about so I just never brought it up. But after 6 years as a moderator on PP I should've known better - we're usually the ones that notice glitches and we let the administration know so that they can be caught before they snowball. I definitely should've said something sooner!

I have lost some of my pins in my signature, and I don´t know how. Just checked in my pin list and they are there, it´s just they don´t appear in my siggie
