Proud of...
I am most proud that I finished the marathon! I didn't get behind and had my pages done before the instructions were completed for the next SS. I was able to use some new kits that I hadn't really played with much, too. I am amazed how much I have learned about digital scrapbooking since this time last year.
I am most proud of these LOs: ![]() I really wanted to do a pirate page, and it took forever to piece together kits since I don't really have a full pirate kit (need to get one soon!), but I love the end results! I also used pictures from Mark's website which is awesome if you haven't seen it! http://photos.barbierifamily.org/Disney ![]() I've been wanting to use this kit-Belle of the Ball by Kelly Bell-for a while and I just love how well the elements and papers work so well with the pictures! It was a lot of fun to make! Thank you to all the hosts and the designers who contributed their hard work and great prizes and especially to Melinda for organizing it all! It was so much fun! |

I'm proud of myself that I was able to complete the marathon even with having to work each day of the weekend, having company over, going to church, and bringing DD to the ice rink for skating practice!
![]() And I re-learned that I don't need to spend days working on a page to "get it right". All I need is some instruction and a deadline and I can get the job done FAST! Lastly, that I got this page done. I have been trying to get it made for a while (this is the 4th attempt) and it worked! I'm so happy that I won't have to look at those photos any longer!

I'm so proud of myself for finishing all 16 layouts! With all the craziness going on in my life right now that's awesome! I'm proud of my family for being patience with me since they basically didn't see me for 3 days..LOL!!
I have two layouts I really fell in love with this time around. The first one is my Storybook Circus Giggle Gang layout for Speed Scrap 127. I'm a template scrapper so when Roxana said NO TEMPLATE I thought I was going to choke!! In the end it turned out to be one of my favorites!! ![]() My next layout is from Speed Scrap 133 with Michelle (msbagley). I have been wanting to scrap my daughter dancing with one of the cast members on the Disney Fantasy but unforuantely the photo of them dancing didn't turn out too great. The flash must of not worked..UGH!! So when she said to use a photo with black and white it hit me light a light bulb...DAH!! Turn the one photo B&W. I really love how it turned out...so elegant and graceful like their dance. Carelene was amazing with my daughter and they grew to become great friends. I know Adrianna will cherish this layout and so will I. ![]() Those are my two favorites from the speed scrap. Thanks Melinda for the wonderful after party games...LOL!!

First of all...Thanks again to all the hostesses and sponsors...What a fun, fast paced weekend!! I can't believe how much I chatted this weekend...I was so amazed at how many new MS members we have!! This is such a fabulous community of scrappers! So happy to meet all of you!!
I also can't believe that I actually got it all done. I have been having a really stressed out school year and spending a lot of time at work. Friday..was actually the first day that I felt super relaxed and had a feeling that I was totally caught up... Anyways...work has left me with zero mojo and not so creative. This weekend really sparked me up!! I am really proud of everything that I was able to get done on my October 2012 book...maybe I can get it done before our next trip...haha Here are a couple of LOs that I am most happy with: ![]() I am so not a minimalist...so I am shocked at how wonderful it turned out! And... ![]() I love how this one turned out...it was actually my first LO for the weekend!! Can't wait to see it printed!! Thanks again...til next year!!

Out of My Comfort Zone
I am so proud of myself because:
1. I joined a scrapbook forum - for someone who doesn't participate in social media, this was a big jump for me. 2. I made a page without a template 3. I learned that foliage is more than just a pattern on paper - who knew the many kits I've bought contain them - I certainly didn't 4. I made clusters (multiple in fact) without it manufactured via prepurchased word art. 5. Self-praise isn't something I do, so to take a moment to admire my own accomplishment is something for me to marvel. The most difficult challenge, containing all these elements.

First off I want to say how much I love this thread. It has been wonderful reading everyone's stories. Than you Melinda for coordinating such a fun and awesome weekend!
I am really proud of the fact that I did all 16 speed scraps this weekend despite having my daughter's 4th birthday party on Saturday. Not all were completed on time, I did 5 layouts in 4 hours this morning to try and complete them all before noon. I fell short of the full marathon by one layout that was 30 min past the deadline, but I am proud that I did them all! They weren't all great, but I got them done. Here are a couple of the pages that I am really pleased with: For SS#129 - I love how the blocking turned out ![]() For SS#136 - I just love the colors of this one ![]() For SS#140 - One of my favorite rides, and I just love the background paper on this page.

Fun game!! Let's see... I'm proud of my self for finishing every speed scrap in time!
The second thing I'm proud of is a layout I did that has me in it! I NEVER do that!!

My 3 year old has a head cold. It's making for some rough nights around here. Sigh. I'm so behind on going through the gallery and making comments. Maybe I can do some this afternoon.
On that note, I am really proud I finished. The last one was a doozy at 8 a.m. Monday morning. I got up before Senior Chunky Pants after a night of mostly no sleep to finish. In this one: I used a template but added the big banner. Because there is a woman behind there. My DD remembers when I took the picture I was happy with the image of her but really frustrated about the person in the background. I was going to try to clone her out, but then decided to just cover her up. I'm really happy with the outcome. And last but certainly not least ... The selective color! And I recolored all the green elements from red ones. I love love love the way it turned out. |
