Our puppy is named for Jiminy Cricket - we wanted a Disney name but not something terribly obvious, yet not so obscure we had to explain it all the time. Her sister/littermate (Daisy, another Disney name) belongs to one of our agents and we were tempted by the pictures Jenni showed us of Daisy while we were all at Walt Disney World together in October. When we got home, we called Jenni, she picked Cricket up from her foster mom and we drove to GA a few days later to get her - and spend a few days playing with Jenni and her girls and Daisy.

Cricket is supposed to be a purebred miniature schnauzer but since she's a rescue we didn't expect that to be true and it's not. Someday we might do the test to figure out just what mix of breeds she is but no matter what, we know she was meant for us.
