GAME #1 - I'm proud of myself because....

[Therapy97]

I was really excited to see that the speed scrap marathon was this weekend, especially since I just got home on friday from my 2nd Disney Cruise. So, I had a whole bunch of new photos to choose from. I am proud that I finished the marathon, mainly, but I was really happy to see the rule of SS#131 being that *I* had to be in the picture. This was my new year's resolution... to be in more photos. So, I had a lot of fun scrapping myself and am very happy with how this LO turned out!

Thank you for an awesome weekend and all the challenges! A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all the designers for their awesome PP's and donations to the goodie bags as well!

[scrappyvore]

I am proud of myself for having completed the marathon for the third year in a row. Without this weekend, I'd have probably completely given up on scrapbooking, but you gals keep me in the game.

Here are two of my fave layouts. I love the first because the memory of Stitch trying to steal my Daughter's ice cream is fresh and wonderful. The second because it represents visits with special people. We travel a long time to visit DisneyWorld each year. To get to share it with grandparents is magical.

I struggle with creativity and I get tired but I pushed myself to complete the marathon. I feel a sense of accomplishment by the end of the weekend. I thank everyone for the challenges, pp, and praise. Most of my layouts I feel need tweaking except 1... my personal favourite of mine for the weekend.

This was my 5th completed marathon. I wasn't going to participate because I have had so much going on lately, but my friend encouraged me and said "just try". "Do one page." And I did one, then next thing I knew, it was all of them! It really made me appreciate my friends and I was so happy to get to see old ones too.

I am proud of this layout because I thought it would be fun to have rust embellishments and I couldn't find any, so I made my own!

This is the first layout I did. I know this sounds crazy, but when I put this paper on, I was like, wow! It gave me a feeling of accomplishment. I am proud also that I am finally getting the hang of clustering. I think...

I'm proud cause I finished all the layouts and I'm really proud of each of them.
My favorite - a friend's daughter on the tea cup ride.

Love this thread...and what everyone has already said.

I'M PROUD THAT I DID SOMETHING NEW:
-First Marathon (I completed the 1/2)
-First Speed Scrap
-First time on this site...actually I came once before to the forums and was kinda lost) I'm glad I came back.
-First time making that many pages in one weekend. (I feel so accomplished)
-First time typing that I am proud of me.

THANKS for the fun -All ya all.

p.s. I couldn't pick one LO I am most proud of. I am lovin' them all.

This was almost as hard for me as doing the pages!! i have to say that I am happy with all of my LOs, yeah, I like some better than others but I like some pics better so what do i expect right! I am so proud of myself because I actually did this, posted and finished all of the pages that means I got s lot accomplished!!!! I have often been to the sight but never posted anything, my pages are usually put them on the page and go to the next, with a couple thousand pics per trip and being behind about... well a long time I am just concerned with getting them done not fancy. But Now that may change! I am loving these pages and even the flowers and the foliage (which i very rarely use even when I spice things up a little!) I have had a great time and learned that it is amazing how fast you can make a great page when you want a great prize bad enough!!!
Here are a couple of my faves

I just like all the color and different papers

I love the glitter and the elements!

I LOVE this kit so this page was lots of fun

I am proud of myself for completing all 16 speed scraps despite everything going on at home. It meant a couple of really late nights but I did it!

I really like how this layout turned out. I struggle with choosing which color papers to put where even when using templates.

I like all the bling in this one!

I am most proud of this layout. Learning that it can be simple and does not need "stuff" everywhere.

Even more proud I completed the marathon and all but 1 on time and still saw my niece's skating practice, my nephews hockey game and the movie Lincoln while complete all the laundry and grocery shopping too. Work was surprising relaxing today.

I'm proud of myself becuse:
1. I tried the marathon and completed half. Which was my first time doing this.
2. And I made a pink glitter page out of a paper from a kit to complete the following page:

And after makeing some pages for the marathon I'm not "re"motivated to digiscrap.
