Great challenge Dawn I lvoe how you linked it to the something old, new, borrowed blue saying. Did you guys know that it has a last line "and a silver sixpence in her shoe"? I found this out when my friend was getting married and gave her a lucky sixpence! I am full of random information

This is a great challenge I will try to get something scrapped over the weekend.

OK, this was fun. These pictures are from our last trip. My boys are so sad that Toontown will be gone soon.

Here is what I came up with:



Something old - Red paper by Seabies Freebies
Something new- Alpha by Britt
Something borrowed - idea for page scraplifted from Wenrob (hope that counts as borrowed)
Something blue - Balloon by Sahlin Studios (fence from Sahlin Studios also)

What a great idea for a challenge! As soon as I'm finished the template challenge, I'll start on this one!

this was a restuarant we ate at during my last trip to disney. i could relax and eat without neededing to use a knife or worry about flinging food because I was a right handed person having to eat with a utensil in the left hand (right arm in sling). on this trip i hardly got to go on any rides because my grandmother was worried that even "it's a small world" might jostle my arm too much, so i rode on it with her next to me as "protective padding" lol. and she didn't understand that a sling fill up with water and is useless in the pool, so she made me keep it on even in the pool. The trip had it's fun moments but was definatley my worst trip to disney, and this restaurant was probably the best moment of the trip.

Here is my take on the challenge, thanks for hosting this one, I loved following your instructions.

We were at Disneyland Paris n 2007 when it was open for 15 years. We were there with my brother and his girlfriend and their kids and with my parents. We had a great time. The journaling explains it all to my little boy.

Here is my layout

Old: photo 1988, taken, from what I can remember, in that Polaroid spot inside the store at Pirates of the Caribbean, my dad, my mom, my brother and me (my DH keeps telling the oldie is not the photo but me!)
New: shiny gems in the chest
Borrowed: the skull from Britt´s tell no tales
Blue: The parrot wings
Thanks for the challenge! it saved my photo, was almost cracking when I scanned it! Now I have a page to remember!

Here's my layout ... I think I got all the requirements in (maybe more than once). Yes this is photos from my first trip to Disney World in 1982 with my mom, grandmother, and sister ... seems like a lifetime ago.
