Here's mine. It's not an "awwwww" moment" because I really don't have any of those at WDW. Mine is a favourite memory of friends being together and some of the fun things we did together.


The journaling reads:
One of my favourite memories from WDW is from the Food and Wine Festival. My friend Angie and I are “northerners” and had never seen a peanut plant. We saw a pot with a plant in it and didn’t know what it was. Our Southern friends told us it was a peanut plant. We were excited to discover they grow underground like potatoes. Just to make sure our friends weren’t fooling us, Angie pulled one out of a pot. It’s one of her most prized possessions now! By the way, a deputy sheriff took this photo! That’s why Angie is making the shhhh sign with her finger:
“Shhhh, don’t tell the cops!” lol

Thanks for hosting Denise. I don't really have an "awwwww" moment at WDW because every day there is special, but I do have one particular memory that stands out because of what happened years later. The journaling explains it.

Journaling reads: One of my favorite memories of WDW involved the Rockin' Roller Coaster. It was closed for refurbishment when the family was here in September 2007, so we never got to ride it. When I walked by it this trip I noticed that they had added a single rider line. I must have ridden the roller coaster 6 times in a row within one hour's time thanks to that new line. A few years later, my nephews Nicholas, William, and Jack would tell me that I was their "cool" aunt since I had ridden the roller coaster so many times by myself.

"We went to Magic Kingdom on my birthday in 2008. After breakfast at Crystal Palace we went to wander off in Fantasyland, so the boys would try again to take the sword out of the stone. Then a cast member, Marion, approached us. We started chatting, and she saw my birthday button. Then she turned to my son and said that he wasn't saying the right words to get the sword out. After she taught him ....the sword comes out. Every boy around was looking at Lucas, and he was thrilled. After that, Marion took us all to ride Peter Pan without going in line, and it was a 40 min wait that day. It was a magical birthday."

Linda, I love that! The boys are soooo cute!! How fun! My ds would LOVE to do the build your own light saber hat. Love the composition of the page and the photos are fabulous!!

Journaling says: On our vacation to Walt Disney World June, 1997, we never dreamed that it would be our last annual trip as a family.
All the usual photos were taken. A picture in front of Neptune Fountain in the Central Plaza del Teatro and of course a picture with Tigger. We had lunch at the Crystal Palace, so we made sure that my daughter Jenni would get her picture taken with him. Tigger was her favorite! Jenni had to cut her vacation short, in order to finish a project at work. That was her last vacation at WDW. Just 4 months later, she was killed in an auto accident. I cherish the photos that were taken on that trip...
