Weekly Challenge #43 {7/14-7/20}

Sorry for being a little late posting this today!! Some stuff came up this morning - life happens! ANYWAY . . . here we go with the challenge . . .

Disneyland turns 55 this Saturday! So, to celebrate we'll be scrapping a page with a few "ingredients" inspired by Walt's Opening Day Speech at Disneyland July 17, 1955.

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome! Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past ... and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America ... with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."

- " . . . this happy place" Make sure to include something that represents HAPPY on your page. A happy smiling face, the word happy, a happy color scheme, etc.

- ". . . relives fond memories of the past" Relive some fond memories of your photos by journaling at least 3 sentences. Tell the full story! Take time to journal everything you can remember.

- ". . . inspiration to all the world" Disneyland and Disney World are inspiring to be sure. Let's find inspiration from each other!! Your page should be SCRAPLIFTED!! Be sure to include the original artist and a link to their page in your credits whenever you scraplift.

As always, your pages must be Disney related in some way.

You should post your LO in the MouseScrappers "Weekly Challenges" gallery.

Post your LO back in this thread, with a link to the LO in the gallery!

Then you need to post your LO in the corresponding attraction thread as to what your LO is about. (For example, if your LO is about the Indiana Jones ride, you post in the Disneyland > Adventureland > Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye thread.)

And of course, leave some comments for your fellow challenge participants in the gallery!

After you do ALL these things before July 20th, at midnight Pacific Time (and I will be checking to make sure you do ALL of these things) you'll get this prize!
