Hello everybody!!

Who's ready to speed scrap?!???
Just so excited to be kicking off the festivities for this weekend!!
Isn't this Marathon just the best idea in the history of ideas for fun and scrapping along with your fellow Disney fanatics?

Thanks to Mousescrappers and all the behind the scenes peeps that make this event possible for us!
Not sure if you guys remember the premise of Speed Scraps and how this marathon began, but back in the old days a speed scrap was just an hour long.
Really just 60 minutes of feverish scrapping and that was all the time you had.
If you were able to finish your layout in the 60 minutes you were rewarded with a participation prize.
Those were the days. lol

I remember my first one and I was literally sweating trying to finish it! It was just a whirlwind of pictures and elements and checking and double checking the post for the required things the hostess had set. Then quickly trying to save my layout and upload it to the site counting down the minutes to the deadline. It was overwhelming and a little daunting but oh so much fun when you were able to accomplish it!

In the spirit of the original idea of Speed Scrapping the coordinators of this event have asked us hostesses to remind you that your layout should start from scratch so to speak. That means that the use of quickpages and any pre-mades such as pagestarters, paperstacks and border clusters are not allowed. They have asked us to watch for these and to disqualify any layouts made with those type of items. It is my understanding that templates are still allowed.

So with all of that being said, let's get this party started!!

Your page needs to be Disney-related (or surrounding area parks) and follow all the instructions below.
Post your completed LO's in this thread and in the appropriate sub-topic forum. Make sure you post the sub-forum link here too.
Deadline for this speed scrap is 12 midnight EST to be eligible for the participation prize.

Speed Scrap Guidelines
There will be 5 instructions in total.
The first will be posted on the hour.
The second at fifteen past.
The third at half past.
The fourth at fifteen to.
The final instruction on the close of the hour.

If you join late don't worry you can still play along just follow the rules and get it uploaded before midnight and the prize is yours.

Instructions:

1. Since project 365 and pocket style scrapping is all the rage right now I'd like to do a pocket style page. Choose at least 6 pictures to scrap.
2. To keep the look of the pocket style layout let's do rectangular shaped pictures
3. Use at least 5 tags or word strips or worded ribbon to describe what's in the photos
4. Documentation is key to project life style layouts so make sure to include a date.
5. Add your shadows and any last minute flair and we are done!
