we had planned to go before we knew that the general public don't get to see the actual ceremony (this part is only to competition winners)
if you didn't win a ticket then you get to see a 30 min parade, as we live a 3-4hr drive away and with fuel being so dear we worked it out by the time we had paid for hotel and everything else it was just going to be to expensive to justify going to see a 30 min parade (especially as we have only just got back from wdw last month)
bit of a bummer really as if the tickets would have been put on general sale we would have defiantly bought some and gone
