Sorry I didn't move the "scrapguy" today. We were at Texas Motor Speedway today for our school kickoff. Here was my day.
*Awake at 5:30 for the first time all summer.
*Get to school and on the bus by 7 am. (I live 30 minutes away)
*3 hours and some dancing in the middle of the bus aisle later...arrive at Speedway
*Meet the new teachers and staff and go over current goals.
*Have lunch
*Play games
*Go check out the infield and marvel at how huge the track is
*Get back on the bus for the three hour trip back
*The air conditioning on the bus breaks
*The bus overheats
*We take a 40 minute pit stop at McDonald's.
*Get back on the bus after adding water.
*Air works for about 45 minutes
*Keep traveling until we meet the replacement bus
*Broke my shoe
*Got back to the school four and a half hours AFTER we left the speedway.
Man...I would rather be scrapping!
