I hope they're able to recover everything for you April. My sister's external hard drive fell off a table a few weeks ago and we had to send it to a specialty recovery service to get it looked at.
They're hopeful that they can recover most of the photos and files, but it sure does make you feel sick when you lose photos. Hang in there!
