You lost me a little when you said

. I do know that those pins you listed all take "Points for Posts" whereas the others are "Posts Points". I honestly don't know what the difference is, but I will search the developer's thread to see if it explains. Why it lets you go negative I have no idea, but please tell me sooner next time so I can see it in the 'activities' before it scrolls off the page.
