Thanks for the questions Monica
I am going to email the hosts today just to remind them of a few things so I will add this to my email.
I read back over the instructions for the speed scraps to see what we have been doing
They read as follows
There will be 7 instructions in total.
The first will be posted on the hour.
The second at ten past.
Third at twenty past.
Fourth at half past.
Fifth at twenty to.
Sixth at ten to.
The final instruction on the close of the hour.
Then you will have 4 hours to finish your layout and post to the gallery and relevant thread to claim your prize.
If you join late don’t worry that you missed the start you can still play just get follow the rules for your layout and get it uploaded before the deadline.
So I make that 5 hours total, 1 hour for instruction and giving 4 hours for finishing up and posting. We gave this big window so paper scrappers could try and participate if they wanted. So using your example a ss starting at 7am would finish at 12.
Hope this helps clear things up adn I will ensure all hosts are on the same page.

I'm making a schedule for myself with start and post times and as I was looking at the individual SS posts I noticed that some of the post times were 4 hours from the start time (first direction) rather than 4 hours from the last direction (which is what I thought we usually did). Just wanted to be sure it, just in case it is different for the marathon and I missed it (which wouldn't be unusual ).
Say for ET. With a start time of 7AM the last direction is given by 8AM. So should the post time be 11AM (4 hours from start) or 12 PM (4 hours from last direction as we seem to have been doing)?
We have a lot of new people participating and figured someone might be wondering the same exact thing.
Again to you, all the hosts, and all the designers who contributed to the pp's and the grab bags!!! It's going to be an amazing weekend. Now my family will hopefully cooperate !
