Though it was extremely hot (low 90's maybe?) this was a fantastic event with a great turnout. The kids were so adorable and I'm kicking myself for not scrambling to take a photo of one of my peers (dressed as Anakin, episode 3) with a little girl with Downs. He kneeled down to say hello and she just sort of melted in his arm when she turned to face the camera. He was wearing his outer robe at the time so she looked like she was inside a little cave there in his arm. I was so into the moment that I didn't even think to grab my phone from my boot and take a photo.
