Pin Trading

This isn't a scrapbook page... but an altered project. Hope it is OK to post. My family got into the Pin Trading a few years ago. At first I thought it was just another ploy to separate me from more of my money.... but then I got sucked in! And I tell you what, it has led to some of the greatest encounters and memories that we have from our trips.

I have 3 boys, 2 are special needs. Communication/social skills are a real challenge for them. And the pin trading has helped us to teach them some of the skills in a very fun way!!

We have really become pin collectors as much as traders!! So I needed to find a way to keep the pins that the boys (and I) just don't want to part with. I used my scrapping stash to alter this shadow box. We have it on display hanging above our fireplace in the family room.

Hope you enjoy it! TFL!
