Photo Scavenger Hunt #3 (Mar 1 - Apr 30)
 

Hi! I am back with another Photo Scavenger Hunt Challenge. Sorry its a little late, but I have been quite busy lately. Hopefully we can get a bunch of participants this time around.

The Challenge Rules:

1. I will be posting a list of photos to capture... you must gather at least 14 photos of the items listed in the photo hunt. (not 14 photos of the same type of item)
2. You should be able to do this at WDW or DL or maybe even any of the international parks (this can be over several days in any Disney park, or even on a cruise/parks trip, just as long as its within the time frame listed)
3. You must be visiting a Disney Park or Disney Cruise between March 1 - April 30 2011.
4. I want photos from this visit, please be honest here, and find some way of proving this (photo of the park map you received the time frame you go or scan your ticket, for example).
5. You must use your own photos, not someone else's, unless its a photopass photo or taken by someone you have met up with (ie. group photos with other mousescrappers)
6. Then when you get home post a layout of your photos in this thread.
7. Label some of the photos or have a guide numbering and listing the photos. I need to be able to easily check off that you have gotten at least 14 of the items listed.

You should post your LO in the Photo Scavenger Hunt Gallery.

Post your LO back in this thread, with a link to the LO in the gallery or forum.

Please be sure to leave some comments for your fellow challenge participants in the gallery.

You must post a layout by midnight May 15th 2010.

Do all of this and you will get a prize that I will post as soon as I come up with it.


Ok so here is the scavenger hunt list:

1. I love all of the funny Disney hats you can find in the parks, so put one on and show me a photo.

2. A photo of you and another Mousescrapper.

3. A picture of something iconic in each park that makes you think of it other than the main icon (so no Castle, Tree, Golf Ball or Hat), try to be creative and preferably have someone you know in the photo. At DL you can use DL and CA as your different parks or each themed land in DL. For Disney cruisers this can include the ship (maybe even on the ship, think aquaduck) or the iconic painted character balls I keep seeing photos of in Castaway. Cay. (counts as up to 4 photos).

4. I love Tinkerbell, so take a picture of some kind of Tink, other than the character at the meet and greet.

5. A photo of you or your family on a staircase or a bridge.

6. A photo of you or someone in your party driving or in some kind of vehicle at Disney…preferably “driving it”.

7. I want to see you and your favorite character striking a pose.

8. A photo from a different perspective…way up high or way down low…just different from your usual height.

9. With a performing cast member in some kind of costume (so think DHS Citizen’s of Hollywood, or maybe the barbershop quartet, or the Jammitors).

10. Find some kind of pirate and get a picture of/with them.

11. Find a Survey marker. Find a link to them here: http://www.wintertime.com/OH/GC/Disney/disneymarks.html (hint: there is one right in side of the front entrance of the MK. When you exit the tunnel, turn around look at the stairs up to the train platform and right in front of the stairs on the left is one (about 10-20 feet from the steps.)

12. Since its Flower and Garden time at Epcot, take some kind of flower, garden or topiary photo.

13. A hidden mickey.

14. A photo of you or someone in your party eating something on a stick.

15. A photo of some fastpasses, extra kudos if you can show them and the fastpass time clock over the machines in the same photo.

16. A fountain or waterfall (try to find an out of the way one if you can).

17. Your favorite ride.

18. A photo of Disney Balloons.

19. I love parades and shows, so take some kind of parade or show photo.

20. I love Disney Transportation, so a picture of a monorail, boat, bus etc…

Im glad these challenges are continuing Julie, we had so much fun. My oldest even asked me one of these days if there was going to be one of those list for us to find in the parks when we go to California in July. I think it was great to see the kids involved and helping in everyway to get pictures of the whole list :yes:

I just loved participate at the first one, it was so fun. I did it in DLP, this one is perfect for my first WDW trip ! So cool !

I am so glad you like it. Can't wait to see what the next round of layouts will bring!

I'm going to try to participate. my only problem is that I'm going alone.... and I'm not going to get a photopass. I'll see how I do... I just wish there were more pics for me to take that didn't have to have a member of my party in it (which is just me lol!)

Just try to do your best...cast members are always willing to take pics for you, and so are the photopass people...they will use your camera too!

well... thats the nature of my problem lol! I don't WANT to be in any pics lol!

Ha ha...you could be creative with a stand in ....you know like the travelocity gnome.

I hope there is a Photo Scavenger Hunt when we go to Disney in July...I would love to do one of these...But like Paula, I really don't like getting my picture taken, unless I have someone in front of me and all you can see is my face....:lol2:

Great list, Julie. Last time I was at Disneyland, I forgot the list and couldn't get good internet in the park. DD wants to go next week so hopefully I'll remember to take the list with me.
