Hi, all!! I am hosting my 1st Speed Scrap here at MouseScrappers today at 4PM EST (just 2 hours away!!!)

We will be in the chat room here

You will have 4 hours to complete the challenge and post your LO in the relevant thread to be eligible for the participation prize. If you live outside the US and this challenge falls during your sleeping time, please let me know. We will see if we can't work out an arrangement.

Remember: There will be Goodie bags for all participants who complete at least 1/2 (7) of the scheduled scraps.... plus another goodie bag for anyone who completes the Full marathon!! In order to qualify for the goodie bags... each scrapper needs to create a post in the master thread (just one) stickied to the top of the Speed Scrap sub-forum. and put a link to each of their LOs. They can post up until NOON EST on MONDAY in that thread to qualify.

So even if they don't finish in time to get the PP for the SS.... it still counts for the goodie bags!

Speed Scrap Guidelines

There will be 7 instructions in total.
The first will be posted on the hour.
The second at ten past.
Third at twenty past.
Fourth at half past.
Fifth at twenty to.
Sixth at ten to.
The final instruction on the close of the hour.

If you join late don’t worry that you missed the start you can still play just get follow the rules for your layout and get it uploaded before the deadline.

1st STEP...PICK ONE PHOTO AND REPEAT IT 2 TIMES ON YOUR PAGE
STEP 2 ~ CHOOSE 2 PAPERS. YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADD MORE, BUT WE'LL START WITH 2 NOW
STEP 3 ~ CHOOSE AN ELEMENT AND REPEAT IT (AS MANY TIMES AS YOU'D LIKE TO) WE WILL BE ADDING MORE LATER, SO JUST CHOOSE 1 ELEMENT
STEP 4 ~ MAKE A ONE WORD TITLE
STEP 5 ~ MAKE A CLUSTER OF ELEMENTS SOMEWHERE ON YOUR PAGE
STEP 6 ~ CHOOSE ONE MORE PAPER AND USE IT SOMEHOW ON YOUR PAGE~CROP IT, USE IT AS A MAT, BLEND IT, WHATEVER YOU'D LIKE
STEP 7 ~ CHOOSE 1 ELEMENT AND ADD IT TO YOUR TITLE. SHADOW, JOURNAL AND DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE LOVE!!!

This might seem like a silly question ... but can I post little 1 off comments here, or is that what the chat room is for? :confused:

I will be there. My son gets off the bus at 3:50 so I will get in as soon as I can.

@ Kayla: Your in AZ so it is 1 pm there? But PST in is Daylight Savings Time so you still have almost an hour.

The chatroom is where we will all be chatting and learning the rules. The hostess will update the first post with the rules as she gives them. I am sure you can post a question here and have it answered. If that what you were asking?
