Hey all!! Welcome to my Nighty Night Inaugural Speed Scrap! I'm so nervous!! :eek:

We are starting at 11:00 pm eastern...just setting up the thread for all the instructions.

It is a bit late...so don't stress too much about the deadline time. Just come and chat...you don't wanna miss it...hint hint...;)

Just a reminder...here is what you are playing for:

Just a little reminder:
Here are the Speed Scrap Marathon Rules:
There is Goodie bags for all participants who complete at least 1/2 (8) of the scheduled scraps.... plus another goodie bag for anyone who completes the Full marathon!! In order to qualify for the goodie bags... each scrapper needs to create a post in the master thread stickie at the top of the Speed Scrap sub-forum and put a link to each of their LOs. They can post up until NOON EST on MONDAY in that thread to qualify.

So even if you don't finish in time to get the PP for the SS.... it still counts for the goodie bags!

Don’t worry that you missed the start you can still play just get follow the rules for your layout and get it uploaded before the deadline.

Step 1: It’s late…so close to bed time…so to get it done quick, pick a template. It needs at least 4 photos and all the photos should be clustered together.

If you don’t have a template, your LO should have at least 4 photos clustered together.

Step 2: To keep your eyes open…Choose your photos…make sure at least one photo has a castle in it.

Step 3: Next…time to pick your papers…Use more than 3 different papers and only one paper for your background. Your background needs to be a patterned paper.

Step 4: If you have seen my LOs, you know that I love flowers!! I will add flowers to all my Los, even my man LOs. I want to see at least 5 different flowers and repeated.

Step 5: The best thing about dream land is the magic. Pixie dust and glitter scream magic!! Use lots of it…You can also use glitter splats or confetti scatters. Or all of that!!

Step 6: It’s getting close to sleepy time…Time to title! Make it large and in charge and makes sure that you use the word MAGIC or MAGICAL in your title.

Step 7: It’s about time to hit the hay…So lets finish it up! NO JOURNALING! YAY!! However you need to add at least 2 word strips that sums up your LO. You can use pre-made ones or create you own.

Don’t forget to rock your shadows…add anything else you think you need to finish off your LO.
Upload it to the gallery #136, here in this thread, and update your tracking post on the master thread, then…go to bed!!

Since we all need to get at least 8 hours of sleep nightly…you will have extra time to get this done…You have until NOON EST on Sunday to upload to get the PP.

I can't get into the chat room either. :( It crashed my system earlier today (horrible Java!!). I'm keeping up (mostly... I am tired! LOL) here in the forum. You hinted at its good to be in the chat... hope I'm not missing anything major! :)

When is the deadline for this? I want to participate but this 38-weeks-pregnant lady is about ready to pass out...

I had problems this summer got the blue screen of death with a Java update and it took me months to get my computer working so I totally understand

Yep, got the blue screen of death today. I was totally panicked!!! Took an hour to get back up and running, lost a layout I was working on, but so far that's it. Going to have this thing looked at on Monday just to be safe, but no more chatting this weekend for me. :pc:

Ugh!! That stinks!! The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago but I think it was related to the stupid EHD I have!!
