Remember:
There will be Goodie bags for all participants who complete at least 1/2 (8) of the scheduled scraps.... plus another goodie bag for anyone who completes the Full marathon!! In order to qualify for the goodie bags... each scrapper needs to create a post in the master thread (just one) stickied to the top of the Speed Scrap sub-forum and put a link to each of their LOs. Speed Scrap Guidelines
There will be 7 instructions in total.
The first will be posted on the hour.
The second at ten past.
Third at twenty past.
Fourth at half past.
Fifth at twenty to.
Sixth at ten to.
The final instruction on the close of the hour.

If you join late don’t worry that you missed the start you can still play just get follow the rules for your layout and get it uploaded before the deadline.

Speed Scrap #132:

Thanks for joining this Speed Scrap. Also a special Thank You to Patty (Scrappily Me) for creating such a cute Prize!

Since this is our 4th Annual Speed Scrap Marathon, I think we need to focus on the 4’s or numbers that divide into 4, since as 4, 8, 12..etc…

I hope you guys are ready to do more scrappin.

Here are the instructions:
1) Use 4 or more photos , but one photo must be different. For example: A really large photo, a round photo, one that is vertical vs horizontal, or one black and white… etc… Just make sure one stands out as different.

2) Use at least 4 different papers. I prefer you use at least 8, but will agree to 4. Try to use a mixture of solids and patterned papers. These can be strips, circles, mats...

3) The girls love pink....so I want to see something pink in your LO. If you LO isn't girlie...then I will accept something red. It can be paper or an embellishment.

4) Make at least 4 clusters on your page. They need to be made up of at least three embellishments and I’ll like to see more than just all flowers or stars. Try to find something cute that matches your page.

5) Add ribbons, strings, splats or splatters. A combination of 4 of these. This can count towards your clusters.

6) Include at least 4 lines of journaling. More is acceptable... but I will be counting ... lol... You know who you are!!!! Also Add a Title to your page. You can use an alpha or a font.

7) Add a word art, buttons or a Hidden Mickey... whatever you think your LO needs. Remember to rock your shadows and leave some loves too.

Viola... lovely LO is completed.

trying to plan my day - is it 4 hours from the start of this "mile" or is it 4 hours from the end to submit by?

It is four hours from the final instruction. Which basically means you have from 12 - 4 to get your page done. (EST)

I won't be able to chat this time around, ladies. I've GOT to take a shower!!! ;) Have fun!!! I will be keeping my eyes out for the instructions postings :thumbsup:

no chatting for me this time around. I'll be sitting at guitar practice with my phone in one hand to see the thread and my laptop on my lap scrapping away. Good news is I am caught up on all of them up to this point so as along as 132 and 133 don't get backed up into each other I should be good to go. Thanks for the inspiration and morivation to get some pages done.

I am at work right now. I won't even get home until close to 5 CST, so I won't get this done on time, but I will get it done later tonight. Maybe I can get into the chat for a little bit if these crazy dance girls leave me alone long enough. :lol:

Ok. Never mind. I can't get into the chat on the work computer. Bummer. Guess I should have brought my laptop, although that might have looked strange... :whistle:

I'll just have to stalk this thread for the instructions so that I can start thinking about my layout.
