Weekly Challenge -102 Sept 14-20
 

Hi everyone

I have been awol for the last month or so from the scrapping community. We have had lots going on with family and one way or another every time I sit down to catch up on things something crops up to stop me. I am hoping that this changes for the rest of the month and I can get back to what I love.

Anyway I was determined not to miss out on hosting another MouseScrappers challenge so here I am!

It was my birthday on the 9th September and today my good friend is in the world at Chef Mickeys celebrating her son's 3rd birthday with the mouse. So this got me to thinking I would like to see your disney celebration layouts. SImply right - well not quite I would also like to see in honour of my birthday and my friends little boy the following things

3 photos in honor of my friends little boy turning 3
9 elements in honor of my birthday being 9th of the 9th
a hidden mickey
an item related to celebrating, balloons, fireworks, banners, candles etc

I haven't been able to scrap my page yet so I will be doing this right along with you this week and will come back with my page soon.

4. Leave meaningful comments & love for at least three other challenge participants (more if you have time). We all love getting love in the gallery!!
5. Come back to this thread and post your layout and leave a link to your LO in the gallery AND a link to where you posted your LO in the venue/attractions thread.

What a fun challenge, and awesome PP! I MUST get this one done. I keep saying I'm going to take a break so I can find my mojo and you gals keep posting challenges that I can't say no to. This is a dangerous cycle! :)

Such an awesome PP and I have so many photos to scrap about Disney and celebrating. I have to do this challenge!!! Will start on this one tomorrow evening, LOL.

I had so much fun with this one. There are 3 photos, 9 elements and even 2 hidden mickeys, and if you count the background I have 3, LOL. Hope this is alright.

Here is mine...Hubby and I celebrated our one year anniversary at Disney World and he surprised me by arranging a dine with Winnie the Pooh and friends on our actual anniversary. I loved every minute of dining with my favorite, Eeyore.

Thank you for an amazing pp!! This may be stretching the celebration requirement a bit but for me seeing Main Street for the first time each trip definitely evokes a feeling of celebration.

Journaling reads: The first glimpse of Main Street is definitely one of the highlights of every visit. Especially when early breakfast reservations allow us to get in the park before it opens and we can take it all in without the usual crowds!

Here's mine...thanks for the fun challenge & I LOVE those cut outs!! Very cool...thanks! This was during the Flower & Garden Festival (hopefully that counts as the celebration...if not, we were celebrating our 15th Anniversary while we were there LOL!).

Here is mine. The whole trip was to celebrate my 21st so i thought i'd pick a miniature celebration. I was chuffed when I got my first bagel. I know that sounds really sad especially since a lot of you grow up around bagels but they aren't as common in England, so this is my first ever bagel at 21! I see why you guys love them :)
I hope this is ok, just thought I'd pick something random and quirky as a celebration ;) I got the 3 photos, nine elements and although my mickey isn't very hidden he is present :)

So apparently I totally goofed! :eek: (Ha! No pun intended giving the title of my LO!!) And I only did 2 photos :( Even if that makes me ineligible for the prize it's okay because I'm pleased with my layout :) Either way, thanks for an awesome challenge!! Also when you said birthday theme I thought of bright colors, hope that counts.

We're always celebrating something when we're travelling Disney. On this day DH and I were celebrating being back in Aruba, though he was stuck on the tour bus with a sleeping child at this particular moment.
