***Telephone Challenge 20 - Worth the money**
 

Hello everyone! We are starting sign ups for Telephone Challenge 20.:yeah: Our theme for this one will be "Worth the Money". Is there something you bought for the trip or at the park that was totally worth the money you spent? Rain coat? Water fan? A plushie? New Shoes? Princess costume?

For example: Haley wanted the $17 water fan. Being the cheap person that I am I didn't want to spend that much on it. The second day we were there, I GLADLY shelled out the $17!!!

If you have never participated in a Telephone challenge, the rules are really simple. The first person creates a layout and sends it to the second person. The second person then takes inspiration from the first layout. It could be color, character, composition, anything you choose but you have to stick with the theme of the challenge! It's very simple and a laid back kind of challenge. We usually ask that you pass your layout within 24 hours so that we can move right along. Things happen, emergencies come up, computers fail (ahem...that would be me most of the time:pc:) so if you need more than 48 hours, please notify the host and we will make the proper arrangements.
In a private message send your layout to me and to the person next in line. Do not post in the galleries at this time. We will reveal all at one time. If you want me to add your credits then the LO's are uploaded, send those to me also. If you would rather do it yourself...that is fine too.

I sent a note out today - hope we can get some more players! Just an FYI, I'll be unavailable to scrap over the next few days, so if we get a start before Saturday, I may need another day to get mine done. It's race weekend here!

If we get started before Saturday I will switch you and Carmen in line. NASCAR or other races? I am a hesitant NASCAR fan. Hubby forces me. I even know what bump drafting, wedge adjustments and lucky dogs are lol

I've been in a slump lately, haven't felt like scrapping at all. Maybe playing along will help me get back in the groove, so sign me up please.

Good idea to switch me if Carmen is okay with it. It's NASCAR this weekend, I'm not a fan, it's my job. :) NASCAR is my least fave, we host Kroger SpeedFest featuring the trucks and Nationwide series events, the nights leading up to the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Now, I am a fan of drag racing and the NHRA. I could watch a National event everywhere, and we're lucky to host the US Nationals here in Indy. Can't wait for Labor Day!!

Alrighty! We are on to Karrie! Hopefully all of this hot weather will do us some good and make us scrap while we are inside. There certainly is nothing else good I can think of about the heat. Oh wait...Less mosquitoes because there is not enough standing water for them to hatch eggs. Can you tell I hate them? I have developed an allergy to them and now REALLY swell. GREAT!:swear:
