Hopscotch May 2-22
 

This one should be fun especially for those clusters out there YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE =-)

In hopscotch you have the numbers 1 through 10, throw a marker onto one of those numbers and skip over it. For our hopscotch you can do the same thing. There will be 10 different things that must be in your layout, however you can "throw your marker" onto one of them and omit it.

Your LO must contain:
one hidden Mickey
two scatters
three ribbons
four frames
five photos
six leaves
seven papers
eight rectangles
nine buttons
ten flowers

You must tell us which number you are skipping!

A scatter is a randomly distributed group of small items - basically it looks like somebody took a handful of something and scattered it on the page.

Most common scatters are beads, glitter, confetti or flower petals, but it really could be anything. I have also seen scatters of Mickey heads, butterflies, bubbles, hearts, pixie dust.... Many kits contain at least one scatter, but you can also make your own.

Here's a couple examples:

OMG, I don't cluster. This is going to kill me!

FUN! So glad we have until the 22nd to complete this one. I am soooooooo far behind on challenges. :cry: I feel like I have lost a month...so much to do... so little time...

Thanks for hosting! This one took some thought. I omitted the leaves, and I swear there are 8 rectangles (2 in the large background papers, 3 long horizontal, 2 behind the photos, and one vertical behind the photos). Everything else should be there.

Hope I followed the rules well enough. I counted my photos as rectangles since they also had mats. I skipped the buttons square.

I skipped the 9 buttons

(One of the frames was a clustered frame, so I didn't count those flowers in my flower count. Also the leaf element had double leaves, but I counted it as a single unit.)

Woot! Got my done. Even with Photoshop continually crashing on me... I skipped the rectangles, unless you want to count my photos in as the rectangles, lol. And, the hidden Mickey is in my scatter. It's there, I promise!

I found this hard because I usually keep my layouts very simple (due to lack of skill!). Anyway, here's what I ended up with. I missed the 6 leaves.

WOW!! This was the toughest challenge for me to date...I am so not used this much embellishments...but I knew I had to do the different spotlights for this page.

I skipped the 4 frames. WOW, This was definitely a challenge. Thank you for hosting. I promise you, everything is there. Some of the stems had more than one leaf, but I counted each stem as one leaf.

This was hard for me, I usually am a less is more type of person. I hope I did it right. Is it ok that my pictures and papers also count as rectangles? I left out the buttons.
