Weekly Challenge #27 (3/24 - 3/30)
 

Hello Mouse Scrappers!! I'm so excited to be hosting the challenge this week!

Many of you who know me, know that I LOVE FONTS. I always have. So this week will be a font challenge.

This week your challenge is to scrap a Disney related layout and use the font: "Minnie". Use the font anyway you want. In the title, in the journaling, on a word strip, be creative!

AND you are also challenged to use one other handwriting font that you've never used before for a few lines of journaling. My favorite site for handwriting fonts is Fonts of Peas. And just just added a new batch of fonts last week! But you can use any handwriting font of your choice, so long as you haven't used it before!

So - to recap:

* Your page must be in some way Disney related (vacations, parks, costumes, toys, Disney on Ice, etc).
* You must use the font "Minnie" somewhere on your page.
* You must use one handwriting font that you've never used before, for a few lines of journaling.
* Post your LO in this thread (including credits or a link to credits).
* Post your LO in the corresponding attraction thread as to what your LO is about. (For example, if your LO is about Mission Space, you post in the Epcot > Future World > Mission Space thread.)

Make sure you complete ALL the steps, I will be double checking!!!

If you post it in the MouseScrappers gallery, I'll be sure to leave you love (as will others doing this challenge!!) Plus you can use that image URL for your posts, instead of Photobucket, etc.

And what do you get for completing this challenge, you ask? Well, let me show you.

Talking of fonts - does anyone know the best way to organise them ? At the moment I'm using PSE8 and they are all loaded in so I have a massive massive list to scroll through each time I want to use one - is there a way of grouping them somehow ?

Andrea - that's AWESOME!!! your pictures are awesome and I love the story that goes with it. So fun!! HAHA

I don't have any font organization tips. Sorry!! Mine are just a HUGE long list.

Love, love love the PP!! I had to go through both my Disneyland and Disney World pictures in order to find a way to use the Minnie font. Thanks for the challenge!!

VERY cute missi_me! I totally love how you used the template! Love the giant blended photo. And I love how you put the Minnie font in the middle of the journaling. Very cute!

Minnie's one of my favorite fonts, and I love handwritten fonts, so I can't wait to play!

Re organizing fonts, a few years ago I tried (there are some free font programs out there that you can google), but it was taking me way too long to categorize them, so I just gave up. ;)

Pam - CUTE!!! I love what you did with the Minnie font!! These colors are perfect for Liberty Tree Minnie! Love how you created little Mickeys for the i's.

OK I hope I'm doing all this right! The ears are from the amazing Miss Britt and the ribbons are hers too, the template is from Simply Yin. I think 98% of all my Disney layouts use stuff from those two ladies! :yeah:

Well this was tricky! I hadn't scrapped Minnie at Animal Kingdom, but she is not in her typical apparel, so here is what I came up with!
