Weekly Challenge #2 {9/23-9/29} - there's a prize now!

This challenge topic is weddings :wub: . No, you don't have to scrapbook a wedding photo, but follow that classic advise:

Something old - an old photo, or a photo of something old! (go ahead - stretch the rules :lol: )
Something new - something new you downloaded this month
Something borrowed - scraplift!
Something blue - blue should be really, really obvious in your layout.

As always, layouts must be Disney related in some way. And remember, Britt will come after you if you don't post your layout on another thread as well, so make you sure you do that! ;-)

edit: I have a prize! :hooray: Neverland Scraps has generously donated a participate prize. Holy cow - I want it! :sorcerer: I need to participate in my own challenge pronto!

Yeah! here's mine for this week
my something old is the pics! they are from our hurricane trip in Sept. 2004. While hurricane ivan was busy destrying our house.. we were at disneyworld.
my something new was the kits. i just got the stargazin one in a newsletter and i bought britts galactic allegiance
my something borrowed- was neverlands layout summertime lauau
& my something blue... is well most of the page lol.

I could so enter half of my layouts but they are all orange and pink because those are my wedding colors! LOL :)

I know exactly what you mean! The girls and I passed this window during our stay at Grand Californian a few weeks ago, and they made me take a picture... my oldest daughter has already decided that that is the dress she wants (I wonder if it's the same one you have pictured... on the left - we were there Aug 30 - sep 1). It was gorgeous..

Anyway, since you saw it at Downtown Disney, please post in the Downtown Disney (under Disneyland) forum. As a bonus, you could also post it in the celebrations forum - since it is wedding related and people who view that forum may take special interest in it - but that is up to you)

karrie - How fun!! Love the creative way you rotated the photo to make the rocket look like its shooting upwards! SO FUNNY!!

fonnetta - BREATHTAKING!!! I would LOVE to see this window display. You made your whole page feel so dreamy and elegant. It's totally perfect!

Pooh46 - I LOVE IT!! All the pictures you found are awesome. LOVE the whole thing! What a great memory to share with your posterity!! (the picket fence is PERFECT!)

QueenV - I love it!! It is getting me so hyped up to see that sign for myself for the 1st time!!! LOVE the BG paper with this. Love the recoloring too.

Thanks so much for the challenge, very cute and for the giftie. :thanks: I was tempted to do some photos I have of the WDW pumpkin coach with the white horses, but eh, that was someone else's wedding! LOL

OK let's see

Something old - this live oak in Liberty Square is over 140 years old
Something new - the History Lessons kit by Chelle's Creations
Something borrowed - the scraplift is Britt's new Stacked Templates (dragged over to the left) That's technically a scraplift right? It was of her layout first. :whistle:
Something blue - gosh, can you tell? :yes:

And also used was Britt's Alphabetical
Jane Austen, Jefferson and Scrap Casual Fonts

And the little facts are - 140 year old live oak (not noted is that it was transplanted from another area of disney property and that it was grafted onto a younger tree - I go on way to many tours at WDW I can't remember what I ate today, but I can remember all kinds of Disney trivia.....) 13 hanging lanterns, replica of Liberty Bell (only one ever cast) and flags of 13 original colonies

I can't believe that I almost forgot about this! I should've been in bed an hour ago I'm so tired, but I had to get this done. Anyway, here it is - my DH & I doing the cake cutting thing, with Minnie and Mickey looking on!

The "Old" is the photos - almost 13 years ago!
The "new" is the blue background paper
The "borrowed" is a lift of the Still Magical LO by Melissa
The Blue is all of that blue paper that I never usually use!!!!!
