Scraplift Challenge #193 - Sep 8 - Sep 21, 2019
 

Welcome to another Scraplift Challenge! Because of the gallery challenges - I'll still send out the pp to anyone who posts to this challenge in the next 4 or 5 days :) (by Sept 26 or 27)

I'm going to borrow an idea from another site's Scraplift challenge because I enjoyed it so much! We're going to lift the cover of this book:

Remember the theme of a lift is you can make this your own - maybe you want to lift it completely as is, lift the journaling, the colors, the repetitive circles. Just make sure that I can see a connection!

Scraplift Rules:
1) Your LO must be Disney related (or nearby theme park; at home Disney is ok)

3) Post your LO in the appropriate thread in the forums and put that link in your post here - if you need help finding a thread in the forum, I'm happy to help!
4) Leave love for your fellow participants because we all love comments on our LOs

I've got mine done and will post as soon as gallery is back up. I'll be leaving in a few days for vacation and won't be back till the day after this challenge is over. Hope you will still count mine. :)

When I saw this challenge I thought it might be interesting to create a page that could be the cover of a destination book. So here is my take on the challenge:

I used Ocean Bliss Collection by Magical Scraps Galore. I was inspired by the pictures on the sides and the words in the middle. Thank you for hosting and the lovely participation prize.

Saw your message and was able to upload a photo - it has nothing to do with this challenge, so ignore it otherwise LOL

Trying another test here - noticed something funky with the timestamp on my previous post here in the forum. I am posting this one at 1:47P EDT on 9/17/19 according to my computer.

Yeah, the forum has a time stamp of 9:47A on it... that is not right

Thanks for testing a few things out. As for the timestamp, I see 10:47 am on it. I am in the Pacific time zone so it is correct for me since I am 3 hours behind. I looked at your profile settings and your time zone is currently set to GMT - 8 Pacific Time. If you want to change it go to the UserCP link near upper left of page, next to FAQ link.

Thanks for playing everyone! I had homecoming week last week and literally a week from "you know where" so I've been MIA. Just now getting things under control.

I flipped it on the side and kept the blocks on top and bottom, plus the words in the middle that went both upright and sideways.

I wasn't sure of the best place to put it. I really is about the Star Wars Land entrance, but my page looks very Frontierland since that is where the entrance starts and the thematic elements on this side. Maybe I should have added some Star Wars'y elements but was trying to keep it clean like the scraplift. http://www.mousescrappers.com/forums...726#post178726
