HERE for Speed Scrap #205 (with Britt)
 

Good morning Speed Scrap Marathoners!!!!

I'm so excited to be hosting a Speed Scrap - its been a while!

I'll be in the new chat room, during the first hour of the Speed Scrap (9-10 am Mountain). And after that I'll be checking this thread to answer any other questions you might have.

Ok . . . here are the rules for my Speed Scrap:

* Please post your layouts in THREE places. First in the SS #205 gallery, then here in this thread, and then in the appropriate forum theme/category thread.

It's super important that you post it in this thread, because this is the thread I'll be using to distribute your prizes!!

* Your layouts in the gallery should contain proper credits for the products you used to create your layout. You can use any designer you want to create your page.

* You should leave comments and love for other #205 Speed Scrappers!

* All layouts need to be Disney or Disney vacation related.

* All layouts should follow the 7 instructions given during the first hour of the Speed Scrap. One will be given every 10 minutes.

* If you join late, don't worry!! You can still earn your prize as long as you complete your layout, following all the rules, and post in before the deadline.

* The deadline for THIS Speed Scrap is Saturday, April 2nd at midnight Pacific.

* The deadline for the goodie bags from MouseScrappers is Monday, but in order to get the specific prize from me, your layout should be posted by tonight.

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1 - CHOOSING PHOTOS. I WANT TO SEE MORE THAN 1 PHOTO AND MAKE ONE OF THE PHOTOS INTO BLACK AND WHITE. THAT'S RIGHT - COLOR AND BLACK AND WHITE MIX!!

STEP 2 - PLACE YOUR PHOTOS ON YOUR LAYOUT. I WANT TO SEE AT LEAST 1 FRAME! IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A FANCY FRAME, EVEN A SIMPLE WHITE BORDER WILL SUFFICE.

STEP 3 - EMBELLISH. SINCE I'M SORT OF OBSESSED WITH JOURNAL CARDS, USE AT LEAST 1 ON YOUR PAGE. YOU CAN SHRINK IT DOWN, JOURNAL ON IT, USE IT HOWEVER YOU WANT!

STEP 4 - WORD ART. ADD SOME. (WORD STRIPS, OVERLAYS, ITS ALL GOOD).

STEP 5 - EMBELLISH TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT. I WANT TO SEE AT LEAST TWO STAPLES!! BUT THEN ADD WHATEVER ELSE YOU WANT! (AND THERE'S NO INSTRUCTION FOR PAPER, SO USE WHATEVER PAPERS YOU WANT TOO).

STEP 6 - JOURNALING AND DATE. I NEVER EVER SCRAP WITHOUT JUST A LITTLE JOURNALING. ALL THE STORIES SHOULD BE TOLD!! SO ADD AT LEAST A LITTLE, IF NOT A LOT. AND DON'T FORGET TO ADD THE DATE SOMEWHERE ON YOUR PAGE. BUT MAKE THE DATE A LITTLE SNEAKY. NOT TOO OBVIOUS.

STEP 7 - FEEL FREE TO DISREGARD ONE OF THE STEPS! THAT'S RIGHT. YOU CAN CHOSE TO IGNORE ONE OF THE OTHER 6 STEPS IN THIS LIST IF ITS NOT MAKING YOUR PAGE AWESOME!

Hollywood Studios was called Disney MGM Studios back in 2002. I am trying to finish out my book from 2002. I seem to only have the random pages left but it is time to finish this book!
On this speed scrap, I ignored the instruction about using a word art. I used an alpha instead.

LOVE this!!! Is it a template? When I click on it I dont' get anywhere, so I can't see credits. LOVE the angles and lines! And - I'm not seeing the date, no matter how I look - and I'm usually good at games like that!

I'm not in love, this will be one I go back and fix :lol:
