Weekly Challenge #290 (July 15th - July 22nd)
 

Thanks for joining me for Weekly Challenge #290 (July 15th - July 22nd)!

Oh Da-da-da-DEAR! Michelle at Mad for the Mouse Designs has been busy with a new 100 Acre Friend. This challenge is hosted in honor of the most loyal and b-b-b-brave friend we know!

Here are the rules for this weeks challenge:

1. P is for Pink. You must have pink somewhere on your page. It doesn’t have to be the whole page, but a flower, a ribbon, or even a t-shirt in a photo – something pink.
2. I is for Irresistible. Who can resist a hug from a Disney character? Let’s see if you can include a Disney character in your LO. Could be a meet and greet, or a clip art - just want to see a character somewhere on your page!
3. G is for Gorgeous. Make it gorgeous! Let’s see at least 5 flowers (you can repeat one flower or choose 5 different ones, just have 5 on there).
4. L is for Love. Include at least one heart somewhere on your page.
5. E is for Eloquent. That’s a fancy way of saying get some journaling on there!
6. T is for Tilt. Tilt something on your page. A frame, a photo, a mat – something needs to be tilted.

And of course all the usual rules apply:
1) Layout should be Disney related
2) Layout should be uploaded to the MouseScrappers Gallery in the Weekly Challenge category
3) Participants should post their layouts in two places: in the challenge thread, and in the appropriate forum
4) Please don't use a quick page to fulfill the challenge

Layouts should be posted to this thread no later than Midnight on Wednesday, July 22nd (PST) in order to receive this AWESOME PP from Mad for the Mouse Designs!

does a mickey head count as a character?

Hmmm.....I hadn't really thought of that. I would say if the Mickey head had a face he would be a character. ;)

Could someone tell me how to post my page on this forum? I have created my page but I do not know how to make the image appear here?

I was able to add my layout in the Gallery under Weekly challenges but just not sure how to have the layout show up in this thread as well?

hi and welcome! If you go to your post in the gallery and scroll down, you'll see three options
*Linked Thumbnail
*Linked Image
*Direct Link

Most people use the Linked image one - just copy and paste that to your post

the linked thumbnail will post the same thing, just smaller, and the direct link does just that - posts only a link, not an image.

Thanks everyone for the help in adding my layout. I believe I have added it every where that it needs to be: here, in gallery and under Daisy in characters:) any where else that I might have missed?

Sorry I'm last minute just found this today. I couldn't get my daughter in law to send me a picture with a character in it fast enough. I hope dolls and clip-art is okay. I think I have the other things covered; but not sure. This is of my Grandson Giovanni in the parking lot at Disneyland tired and ready to start his 350 mile trip back home. Here's my page, from a day my daughters and I spent at Frozen Summer Fun last year.

We are making a whole photo book for that day, and doing it in Frozen-inspired colors, with elements from the individual attractions thrown in. I'll try to remember to post the whole book when it's finished!

I would like to say :thanks: to Linda for hosting this AWESOME Challenge; also :thanks: to Michelle at Mad for the Mouse Designs for her Fabulous Piglet PP. I Totally Love It. I would also like to say :thumbsup: to all the Little Scrappers here. Your pages are all Fantastic and a Great Inspiration; although, I am a little Jealous that you all have such Wondrous Photos. All the times I've been there since it opened I have never gotten close to a character. I was suppose to last year at a Breakfast my son was going to take me too; but I ended up in the hospital as usual. I can see you are all Disney Luck-ilious~LOL. To all a Great Job.
