2015 Marathon - Important Announcements
 

I am starting this thread as a central spot where I can post all the activities happening this weekend. I always have so many things to communicate to you that I want one place to put it all. Please watch this thread regularly for important updates on games, wrap up fun and more!

The Speed Scrap portion of the marathon is under way. :yeah: There will be lots more activities after that part is over.... so be watching. You won't want to miss these either.

I will use this thread as a way to communicate the additional fun things awaiting you...soooo keep on the look out!

If you could avoid posting comments here, that would be great. Just leave this thread for me to use for annoucements. Thanks!

Sorry guys... this week is a little nuts for me. We have several upper tiers of management down this week. Monday night we had an after work function and today has been equally as nuts with meetings and such. I hope to have a little more free time on Wednesday night to post more games. I have started the goodie bags, but still working to organize them. On a happy note, I did receive a couple additional donations... so they continue to be worth the wait!

I love to look through the gallery and find inspiration from you guys. I find scraplifting a great way to kick start my creativity or to help me when I don't know what to do with a photo. I am seeing lots of wonderful pages in the gallery. I can't wait to see what inspires you!

I've almost got the goodie bags almost done! I'm waiting for one final instruction and then I will zip them up and send them out. In the meantime, I've posted Game #5. We have am amazing group of Designers who have donated to our marathon. I can't thank them enough.

I know you are going to love looking around in their stores and seeing all the lovely creations they have made. You also might want to make a Wish List... just sayin. :)

I've put together a list of all the Designers who helped make our Marathon a success. I hope you will take the time to individually write each of these ladies and express your appreciation. This is the least we can do for their time and generous donations to our site.

You are more than welcome to wait until you receive the goodie bags as it is more meaningful to thank them for their specific donation. Just don't forget. :)

Apparently I've blown up my Dropbox Account
 

Well it seems that I didn't read the fine print and I've had too much traffic to my Dropbox account. Totally my bad! Who knew they had an excessive activity limit? I confess...not me. I've not used Dropbox in the past for the marathons and thought I'd go that route this year as it seems very user friendly. Well... live and learn... back to 4shared we will go.

I'll have to upload all the links again and that will probably take a full night since 4shared is a little slower.

I'll work on that tonight when I get home from work and begin shooting you need links to the goodie bags and Game #1 prizes.

Sorry for the inconvenience as I thought I was doing a good thing only to generate double work for you and myself. Oh well.. I know for next time. :yes:

Ok...I've re-uploaded all the goodie bags and the PP for Game #1 to various sources. I've sent out PM's with the new links to each of you. Hopefully we won't blow up 4Shared and Media Fire. :)

I'm at work now, but will be watching my PM's to make sure all goes smooth. I've had a couple testers and things seem to be working fine...but that doesn't mean around 60 hits it won't have an issue...lol... :blush:

Anywho... I've got one more game and I will post it tonight. I will also finalize a few of the ones that have already ended. I know I need to pass our some prizes!!!! I simply felt the bags were a priority. I can't wait to read your feedback on the bags. I personally think they are awesome, but I could be biased...lol... Thanks to our amazing Designers!

Thanks again for your patience and sorry about the Dropbox issue. I won't use them again for high traffic issues.

Having issues with the new links?
 

I've received many notes saying the bags have been received. I have one that is still having a problem. If anyone else is having issues, please please please write me. You deserve the goodie bags and I want to make sure you receive them. There are alternate ways to get them to you if you are having issues.

Please PM me. We will figure something out.

I'll finalize the games and pass out the remaining prizes tonight. I had to cancel my CA trip due to some health stuff with my Mom....so I will finish everything up tonight.

Well... I think the marathon is officially over. :( I've passed out all the prizes and closed all the games. Winners have all been notified. I hope you guys had a wonderful 2015 Marathon and thanks for being a part of our community. :thumbsup:

I'd love for you to continue the momentum and keep participating in challenges and events. There is always something fun happening on our site. :yes: Jump in, play and chat. Keep on making pages, building community and having fun as you go.
