Scraplift Challenge #124 (July 27 - August 9)
 

It's been awhile since we've had a scraplift challenge. I should have posted this over the weekend but work got in the way. (I hate it when that happens, don't you?)

Here's the layout you are going to scraplift. (It's one of the few I could find that didn't use a template.)

Choose anything about the LO that you like (the colors, the layout, the theme, the shape of the journaling, etc.) and scrap away.

Here are the rules for the scraplift:
1) Your LO must be Disney related (or nearby theme park)
2) Upload your LO to the Scraplift Challenge Gallery and post it in this thread.
3) Post your LO in the appropriate thread in the forums and put that link in your post here
4) Leave love for your fellow participants because we all love comments on our LOs

The definition of a scraplift is to use a layout as inspiration for your own LO.

I was inspired by the different layers and the curves within the background papers. Also the contrast between the solid colors and grey elements/background.

Test Track
 

This was the first time my son and husband had ridden the refurbished test track. My son loved making his car. I was inspired by the transportation and the curvy lines in the original layout. I never remember to take pictures on Magical Express!

Thanks so much for the challenge! I was inspired by the little pop of border between the papers and how you made the background paper a subtle pattern and the side pattern a bold pop-y paper.

Since I did a two pager I'm also counting this for the Mad for the Mouse Challenge :D

I hope my page is okay. I liked the Photo placements and using Papers as Frames for the Photos (I usually just use frames 'cause it's easier). I liked your Big WA in the top corner (COOL). I used "On Our Way" mini kit by La Belle Vie Designs, "Bonzai" & "Duffy the Bear" kits by Kelly Bell Designs. I re-colored the ribbon & the deep red paper.

The Layouts look great everyone. I've had a few emergencies at work so I haven't gotten around to leaving love or sending out the PP yet, but fear not, I will take care of it this weekend.
