Design Challenge #6 - September 2012 - THE COLORS
 

We're bringing the August Design Challenge to a close in about a week so it's time to get ready for the September Design Challenge! It will be a color swatch challenge again.

Thanks to everyone who sent in a color swatch idea this time; keep them coming! If you don't see the swatch you sent in, be patient...it'll probably show up in the next color poll.

This thread is to discuss the color swatch for the next Design Challenge. 5 different color swatches have been created and added to the poll above for you to vote on. The swatch with the most votes will be the one we use next month!

All MouseScrappers can vote, regardless of whether you plan to participate in the challenge or not.

Do you have an idea for a color swatch?
You may at any time submit suggestions for color swatches for the Design Challenge. To do so, please PM frogfish (Christina) with your color choices. Color swatches should contain exactly 6 colors (neutral colors need not be included in the swatch as they may be used for papers/elements even if they are not included in the swatch). You may use the template below to submit colors (right click to save the PNG) or simply send the hex codes.

Please note that suggested swatches may not necessarily appear the following month. The monthly color poll will only include 5 choices and depending on the number of swatch suggestions received, there may not be room for all of them. Also, to ensure that the monthly color poll has many very unique choices, swatches that are similar to other submissions may not appear. Unused swatches will be retained for possible use in upcoming months. We reserve the right to alter any suggested swatch if colors are too far out of gamut (which means they will not print correctly).

It was hard though, I loved all the color schemes.
I voted number 5.

I love number two. Purple is my favorite color!! Love that palette.

I voted for #4, thought it fit well for a pirate theme.

I love 5! I can see it working on our Main Street, USA, Pooh pictures or our Pluto layouts.

It was so hard to pick one this time! Great color schemes!!! I ended up voting for #2.

Ooooh, this is so exciting! Only a few days left to vote; it looks like 1 and 2 may go into a sudden death poll!!! Get those votes in!

Well, I really like 3, but since it's down to 1 and 2, I voted for 1. Like the colors with the punch of pink.

Just love all the choices, really pretty colors but... since Halloween is my favorite time of year (and also favorite time at WDW) I agree with Lisa and go with #1. :)

Woot! I started a kit with Palette 2 a few days ago since it was the One I chose and either way I was already inspired to make a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Kit! I was just going to make 2 kits if I had to but I already have several papers and embellishments for 2 so now I can totally focus and go wild.... Yaaaaaaay!!! :yeah:
