Click on the Gallery link at the top of the page. When you are in the gallery look to the far right towards the top and it will say Upload Photos. Click there. In the middle area you will see lines that need to be filled in. The first asks you to choose a category (Member gallery is default). In this case you'd choose weekly challenge. The second box next to 'browse' is where you will attach your photo. Use the browse button to find the layout on your computer. 600x600 is the optimal size, it won't take anything larger. The next box is for a title you chose and then a space for you to write about the layout, give credits, etc. AFter you have filled in as you like, click "Upload/Submit" After you do that your layout will now be in the gallery. below it will be three bars with boxes next to them. they are 'Linked thumbnail', 'linked image' and 'direct link.' Choose the 2nd one (linked image) and copy ALL of the text in the box next to it. Then go to the challenge thread, start a new post, and paste it on your post. When you submit the post the layout should show and when you click it, it should take you to that post in the gallery. Hope this makes sense! |

Wow, thank you Denise for all the fun Disney masks!
I am coming to this challenge super late (I remember seeing it last week...but being away from the computer for 4 days this weekend...didn't help any!) I hope to do a page tonight...but I can't promise! |
Thank you tukogirl but it says image exceeds limit. I don't know how to save it smaller.

This is probably not the easiest way to get your layout file smaller, but I view the file on my computer in my my windows media mgr, one of the menu options is to email the file, the program allows me to choose a file size, I usually can get away with a medium file size. The file needs to be less than 250k when you upload it to the site. I email the file to myself and then just save the attachment. I know you can save the file in a number of different ways in photoshop but the file size seems to still be too large. Not sure if that makes sense

Great challenge! I have never used a photo mask, but I'm real happy with how it turned out! I'm working on next year's calendar, and this is my June page.

Thanks so much for everyone participating!!!! :hooray: I was BLOWN AWAY with all of the creativity and different ways to use masks and by those who made their own!!! Really amazing ideas and layouts. Thanks for trying this different kind of challenge with me :)
I am in the middle of sending out the PP's right now! Remember to leave some love for others! Thanks so much for making this a super fun challenge to host!!!! Quote:
Also, did anyone ever figure out how to use them in SBC???? I know there were still some people wondering, but I don't know how to use SBC at all.... |
Also wanted to say that I'm not a stickler on the time requirement for when you finish the challenge. I'd rather you scrap it a little late, than not scrap it at all!!! So you can still get those pages in for the PP :)
