Weekly Challenge #145 (8/1-8/7)
Welcome to Weekly Challenge #145
This is my first attempt at hosting a challenge of any kind. I hope you'll join in and have some fun. As I'm sure it is for most of you, Walt Disney World is my 'happy' place. It's the place we dream of going. And while the actual time spent there is what memories are made of, planning the trip and getting there is half the fun. And that's what this week's challenge is all about. I want you to scrap about your trip TO Disney. Whether it be by plane, train or automobile. A short day trip, or multiple nights in hotels. Let us share your travel experience through your layouts. Sounds easy enough right? Well, it wouldn't be a Challenge if that's all there was to it. So here are some "requirements" for you to meet (I promise it will be worth it) Don't worry if you don't have photos, I bet the camera might just have been in the overhead bin or trunk. There are NO photo requirements for this challenge. 1) You must let us know (through photo, title, journaling) what mode of transportation you took (plane, car, etc). 2) I just LOVE glitter. So put some somewhere on your page. 3) It just wouldn't be a Disney layout without a hidden mickey. We usually make TWO stops, so hide at least two for me to find. 4) You'll need to upload your layout to the "Weekly Challenge" Gallery, here on this thread and in the appropriate forum. 5) While templates are fine to use, please don't use a quick page for this challenge. And though not a requirement, it's always great to leave some love for the other participants. Here is a double layout that I made Well, I said the challenge would be worth it, and I hope you agree. I created a mini travel element kit (van, bus, plane, plane ticket, 4 road signs, a set of luggage and a 'Road to Disney'. Sara Horton was so kind to let me use some of her papers to create the road for you. Thank You Sara!!!). Thank you in advance to everyone who participates. Can't wait to see what you create!!!!!!! |

Thanks so much for taking part in the challenge. I Love your Layout. We drive every time we go, so it's neat to get glimpse of how others get there. Think it adds to the whole magical experience. (Be sure to check your inbox for your pp)
