Kilimanjaro Safaris
I tried a few new things with this layout: 'liquid' chalk, 5x7 photos, white border (Costco option), square punch. The map is a postcard, and the signs are photos. I also tried using the liquid chalk on the "SAFARI" title before I removed the paper from my cutting map (CraftRobo) - this worked really well.

Re: Kilimanjaro Safaris
Carol-I love how you did the title on that!
Here's a digi LO for the Safari animals. I'm working on the general safari ride now (ok, I've been working on it for ages, it just never looks right...I just might give up & just get it done rather than done right, lol.) Click for credits.

Re: Kilimanjaro Safaris
Nice LO Heather. You really captured a lot of animals on your safari.

I have never put so many pictures on one page before but I am very pleased with the result. My DD Alex who I refer to in the Journal is only 2 and this was her 4th safari but the first time she understood that they were real animals.
Journal Reads: The Safari was really exciting, we saw so many animals! Alex just kept asking where "Joey" was. Mommy and Daddy laughed, while all three Grandparents looked at her confused, they did not understand her question. Alex was searching the Savanna for a Kangaroo! Joey is the name of the kangaroo character on one of her favorite episodes of the Little Einsteins. She was very upset, so Mommy promised her Joey would be in the parade. Happy ! |

Re: Kilimanjaro Safaris
Heather I love the 'film strip' arrangement of your photos. The cluster of animals is REALLY cute, too!
