2014 Marathon - Game #6
Since the gallery is brimming over with lovely LO's from the Marathon, I think we could have a Scraplift game. I call Game #6 - Marathon Lift.
What I'd like for you to do is find a LO completed during one of the Marathon Speed Scraps and lift it. Use their page as an inspiration to create your own. You will need to show me the page you lifted and then your spin on that page. Also, make sure you have left love for the original creator's page. My friend, Amanda from MHK Scraps has donated some super adorable date elements as your prize for completing this challenge. Make sure you check out Amanda's store at Gotta Pixel - http://www.gottapixel.net/store/manu...e_added&page=1 She is many wonderful Disney friendly kits that you won't want to miss. You have a week to complete this challenge. The deadline for this game is Sunday, February 23rd at midnight EST. Now here is a look at MHK's donation: I look forward to seeing your pages!

I was looking for an excuse to redo my layout from challenge 165. I don't take many night time photos so this was a struggle for me. I was having a hard time finding a way to scrap my pictures but not focus on them This layout really spoke to me as a way to use a kit to highlight the memory but not draw too much attention to a photo I wasn't 100% happy with. On top of it, I forgot I owned this kit. I really liked how scrappinnewbie's layout allowed me to accomplish my goal with this photo.
Here is my take: |

Winnie the Pooh Queue
There were so many great layouts, but one of my favs is this layout by AllThingsDisney. I liked her blocking and, of course, Winnie the Pooh. I worked on a couple of Winnie the Pooh pages during the marathon. Seeing this page made me want to scrap another. I wish the characters would have been here for me to take great pics like hers.

I love how Zippyoh's Small World LO turned out using Britt's Fill-er Up Template with it's clean, bright colors and beautiful pictures of detail shots of a ride that I knew that I wanted to scraplift it.
[IMG][/IMG] So, here is my favorite rides' outer details! [IMG][/IMG] I did use a different Britt Fill-er Up Template, but I love how it turned out. |

I tried to scrap this pic of Donald & my daughter a few times during the marathon, but couldn't find the right stuff to use. Then I saw this layout by Quiltymom and remembered I had this kit, but hadn't imported it into SBC yet! Here's my take on her layout.

I scraplifted luv2scrapmm SS#168. I loved all of the strips & layering behind the pictures. Sorry, I don't know how to do thumbnails.
Here's my take on it: Posted HERE
